super inconsistent quality, particularly with their wings. the Savage Wings used to be good, but out of the past 3-4 times I’ve gotten them, only once has been the normal good savage sauce. every other time tasted like a terrible combination of blue cheese and garlic. disappointing and a waste of money. not to mention the quality of the chicken is cheap and poorly cooked at that. used to like the owner too,but now he just lacks accountability or promises to make things right then never delivers. promised a remake of a bad order, but was then perpetually too busy to actually do it every time I went after. I was promised a remake of a order that he shorted me on, and every time I went after that, he didn’t have time to do it even though I asked ahead of time. Constant excuses for bad customer service or food quality and no follow through with promised remedies. It’s a shame, he had great potential, but this owner is his own worse enemy. I would probably deal with it if the food was at least still good and consistently so, but unfortunately that’s not the case any longer.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Don’t let the food truck fool you, nothing small time about the taste that comes outta there. Best riggies in town, no question about it! Coming from someone who has tried all sorts of riggies around town & homemade, and I’ve never fallen in love with a sauce like I have this one! Best everything (Savage Wings) wings too. Customer service is great. I had a mix up once and they made it right asap. Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of their pizza, it’s a little light on sauce to me, but my experience w/ it is also limited to a time or two. I have, however, eaten their riggies every night for a week pretty much lol. As a matter of fact, i could go for….
Be prepared to maybe have to park across the street, it’s a small lot that requires a careful eye getting out of, & if you’re planning to eat there, there’s only a few outside picnic tables, so you might be a little crowded if it’s busy and nice out. Great for lunch or to pick up for dinner.
There is a lot of potential, but the food falls short. I think some salt and seasoning can go a long way. Cooks need to taste what they are making!
Food is fresh and the proportions are great!
