Drove to Shreveport specifically to eat here and Sauvage was totally worth it. Great appetizers, we had the cauliflower bites and the egg rolls, but the entree was the real magic. The Schnitzel was perfectly prepared and the acidity in the slaw made the dish an 11/10. The strip steak with Brussels, fried egg and potatoes was prepared perfectly. Bread pudding for dessert was delish and so was their signature key lime pie that we took to go.

Food is decent. My steak was cooked perfectly how I like it. The sausage appetizer was delish. My only complaint is the boards and bowls they serve in are extremely hard to eat off of. Service was also a little slow but it was the Sunday brunch crowd so that’s to be expected.

Fantastic local spot! Went with a large group for brunch and had a great time. Delicious food and excellent service. They offer bottomless mimosas, bellinis and poinsettias.

The space is small but beautiful. I feel like we were served by the best waitress. She was very friendly and sweet. However I can not rate the restaurant off of her great customer service! THE FOOD IS BLAND….If I am going to spend over $100 I should at least enjoy 50% of my order. We had a table of 14 reserved.. if anyone does not show up it’s a $25.00 charge per person.. that’s ridiculous. Overall I think you should read the reviews before you order lol.

This spot had been on my “to visit” list for awhile. While visiting home I finally had a chance to go check them out! I arrived at the restaurant at 1:15p and was greeted and seated immediately by “Kaylana”. I initially ordered a single glass of pineapple mimosa instead of the bottomless option. From there I wanted to try the steak Benedict, eggs scrambled, medium well for the steak. My food was very good and the mimosa only had a splash of pineapple juice, more dry (strong), which is how I prefer. I also decided to order an additional mimosa,

Overall a decent experience. Reason for four stars across the board is I set in the back seating area closer to the road. Upon waiting for our meal I look around at the atmosphere cleanliness etc. I saw a spider web or two. Overall though it was decent and my wife and I enjoyed our time there

We drove all the way over to Sauvage to try the Sunday brunch menu. The surrounding area was nice, the restaurant was ok with their dumpster in the open instead of its concealed fenced in area, mops laying up against the building. Once we got inside, we were greeted by a host & seated. There are two seating areas, both are rather tight with no outside dining option. We were seated, but it was about a few minutes for our drink order but waited 20+ minutes to put in our food order while other tables were being served. I ordered chicken & waffles, my food was bland. There was a pinch of salt in the chicken tender batter but that waffle tasted like dry paper. My daughter enjoyed her endless mimosas & her crab cake Benedict. I thought the crab portion, they use real crab, was small compared to the muffin it sits on. My wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes. We had crab cakes, small in portion, & devil eggs, small eggs with some paprika, I didn’t think these were worth the price. I also had a mud martini, it was okay with a very small hint of chocolate that was barely noticeable. Food presentation was nice. As I ate, I looked at the decor and noticed there was large webs with dust stretching across the chandelier, the chandelier is directly over the table with patrons dishes. Nobody wore masks. I would probably give another dish a try but I wouldn’t make a special out of the way trip for it.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. The only reason it’s four Stars on service is due to the fact they seemed a little overwhelmed. To there credit they were hustling, just don’t think they had quite enough staff. Still would recommend highly and I will be returning!
