Seaux Much Fun
One of our favorite overall places to go !!

We visit here probably 5 – 6 times a year ( honestly, there ARE other places we have to go, too ! )

The building itself is cute and very welcoming. It’s easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Then you meet the staff, and the owner is usually out and about, too. They are all great folk ! Once you are seated, the server will give you a run down of their specials, and of course take your dock order.
The whole staff works very well together ! They work as a team and help each other out. Great folk ! Our favorite, longtime server is Jacob. You couldn’t ask for a better, more personable person than Jacob. Except maybe Sabrina We met her for the first time and she surely measured up to the fine to the standards we expect !

The food. Lordamercy. You need to try one of everything. My absolute, most favorite appetizer is the Asian Nachos !!
The Shrimp n Grits are great, as is the Waffles ( flavors change weekly), Chicken Fried Steak, Filet, Salmon dishes, and the last goes on and on.

My review is based on several, several visits over the last few years. I most highly recommend checking it out !

My steak was good, my wife’s chicken was cold. It was pretty unfortunate because it was our 1st Valentines dinner in like 15 years. We had a private dinner here 3 years ago with a party of 10 and it was good but I wont recommend it to anyone else for the poor quality of the dinner we had and it was over $200.

Enjoyed it immensely!! Our server Clay was exactly as a server should be! Attentive without making us feel rushed! Predicting our needs before we even knew! Exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and honest! Definitely coming back when time allows!!

We made reservations and went for Valentines Day we never celebrate this day and after 20 years I said why not! After being seated we waited 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table and mind you there was barely anyone in the restaurant! We noticed 2 servers one male and one female arguing over who was going to wait on us! Finally another several came over and apologized and took our order. After another 45 mins we finally got our food which was a set menu for this day, mine was stone cold I did not say anything due to it being chicken it would have been dried out if they warmed it and God knows it would have been the next day before I got a new dish. So I just asked for a box then when dessert came out mine was creme brulee which tasted like lighter fluid! Then to top it all off when i got home to warm my food and eat it my chicken was RAW on the inside!! We paid the $200 bill and left needless to say this place has succumbed to the usual Shreveport standard! We wont be back

One of my favorite burgers in Shreveport! We usually go on Tuesday and get them to go, but this time we went in, and it was awesome! I think the bar area is better than the dining area as far as ambiance goes, but it was also super empty when we came because of the weather, so I think if it was full I wouldn’t be as hard on the dining room. Our server Jacob was super friendly, we’ve met him in the drive through before and he is always great! He pointed out the desserts to me tonight and I got a banana pudding with bruleed bananas, it was top notch! For my appetizer I had the deviled eggs, and they were pretty good, not my style but worth the $8. I can’t wait to come back and compare their jäger schnitzel or chicken Parm to mine. Love this place!

We drove all the way over to Sauvage to try the Sunday brunch menu. The surrounding area was nice, the restaurant was ok with their dumpster in the open instead of its concealed fenced in area, mops laying up against the building. Once we got inside, we were greeted by a host & seated. There are two seating areas, both are rather tight with no outside dining option. We were seated, but it was about a few minutes for our drink order but waited 20+ minutes to put in our food order while other tables were being served. I ordered chicken & waffles, my food was bland. There was a pinch of salt in the chicken tender batter but that waffle tasted like dry paper. My daughter enjoyed her endless mimosas & her crab cake Benedict. I thought the crab portion, they use real crab, was small compared to the muffin it sits on. My wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes. We had crab cakes, small in portion, & devil eggs, small eggs with some paprika, I didn’t think these were worth the price. I also had a mud martini, it was okay with a very small hint of chocolate that was barely noticeable. Food presentation was nice. As I ate, I looked at the decor and noticed there was large webs with dust stretching across the chandelier, the chandelier is directly over the table with patrons dishes. Nobody wore masks. I would probably give another dish a try but I wouldn’t make a special out of the way trip for it.

The space is small but beautiful. I feel like we were served by the best waitress. She was very friendly and sweet. However I can not rate the restaurant off of her great customer service! THE FOOD IS BLAND….If I am going to spend over $100 I should at least enjoy 50% of my order. We had a table of 14 reserved.. if anyone does not show up it’s a $25.00 charge per person.. that’s ridiculous. Overall I think you should read the reviews before you order lol.

Hosted an evening event for 50 people. Extremely accommodating. Service excellent. Food was amazing…everyone complimented the food which is rare with parties this size. The owner was very helpful and everything she promised was provided and even more than expected. Definitely will return for future events.

1st visit. The fried green tomatoes were good but needed some flavor in the shrimp sauce they poured over them. The Ahi Tuna Nachos were very good. The atmosphere was blasé. Maybe they’re still kind of new??? The bar area seemed quaint enough for a date. My Old Fashioned drink was good. The staff was friendly. I’ll be back to give it another shot.
