Overall for a burger place, Sauly Boys offers a very tasty burger (similar to a five guys) with their unique special sauce. The burger was perfectly cooked and nice and soft. Their special sauce tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayo with a bit of pickle juice mixture. It was good. The fries are great too and none were overcooked. We also had a chicken sandwich which was good too. The strawberry milk shake was well made too and tasted great. Pricing was a bit high, but you are paying for the freshness of the meal and quality.

Came here for dinner one night while downtown. This place has a surprisingly good gluten free burger! I got a classic grilled cheese and it was delicious. My girlfriend got a burger with gluten free bun and she loved it. When ordering, they did have to check and make sure there were will gluten-free buns in the kitchen, so just a heads up!

Great burger, I wish the meat was little more, and the burger was slightly bigger! The service was fast, and plenty of seating space. I liked the taste of sauce and big lettuce on it. The fires were crispy. Overall great experience indeed.

The price was reasonable for the meal set that came with fries and a drink. This place gives you the option to change to a plant based patty for 2 dollars extra. The food was delicious.

Great little place to visit in State College. Greeting was very warm and friendly. First time here but they welcomed us like old friends. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we loved the special sauce. We had grilled chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, burgers and fries. Fries were absolutely perfect. Our family would definitely return when in the area.

I love love love the aioli fries! Their portions are large so I found myself ordering much more than I could actually eat. The food is definitely yummy, although the service is a bit slow.

This place seems to think a milkshake is just ice cream blended with a bit of milk in it. The ice cream was decent but the shake was very milky and not at all thick the way it should be.

The food is alright…moderate for what you can get when going for grease-infused food. Everything is frozen, not freshly made. Little spices or options. Kinda expensive for what they have.
The worst is the service…college students who are mostly slow and don’t know what they’re doing. There’s also a guy who’s always in there, I think it might be Saul. But he gives me bad vibes…he isn’t hygienic, talks loudly about things like politics and his relationships, and is overall very “sassy.” He rolls his eyes, says mean things to his employees, and looks like he’d rather a customer walk out than pay. I also think he plays video games?
Look, it’s alright food. Don’t go during football season, the waits are atrocious and you’ll probably still get the wrong order. Don’t go during the summer, you’ll be treated like an inconvenience. I much prefer Irving’s, or Allen Street Pizza, or the Corner Room…all on the same street for much smilier faces.

I ordered the Sauly burger with fries and I was disappointed with the flavor of the burger. It was very underwhelming and I only finished half of it. The fries were too salty. The atmosphere was nice but it seems like they could use some more tables – not a good place for a group over 4.
