I’m so glad I ventured outside of Old Town to try this Mex/Indian fusion place.

Came with a big group so got a try a lot of dishes. Every dish is a fusion of both cuisines, some a bit more Indian and some a bit more Mexican. All super tasty.

Of the dishes we tried:

Masala birria bowl – this may have been my fave, I think leaned more Mexican with hints of Indian spices. Def would get again
Pibil Chick & Nachos – my fave of the two nachos we got. The perfect blend of both cuisines. Gets a little heavy after a while but still delicious and great to share.
Jeera Chick Chaat-chos – vegetarian friendly option, tasty, solid.
1/2 Rotisserie meal – comes with two sides, succulent, flavorful chicken with plethora of sauces, and my favorite type of tortillas (think Sinaloa style)
Fenugreek esquires – a fun twist on your usual street corn
Mom’s beans and roasted cauliflower also were amazing.

Portions are huge and come with lots of sauces and pickled things. Their chili oil was killer in the best way possible.

Super friendly service. I think the owner was out cashier. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Pasadena and love food

Wow. I got two outstanding tacos (birria and asada) and…mind blown. An amazing fusion that tastes incredible. And the sauce on the side is smoky and hot and delicious. Go now.

There is a reason this place is recommended on so many restaurant lists. The rotisserie chicken is both unique and delicious. They have 3 main flavors, and they are all great. The sides and tacos are also very satisfying, especially the goat taco which was super flavorful and juicy. The owner is super friendly and the interior is very clean with both indoor and outdoor seating.

If you’re out here and wondering if you need to try the Indian Mexican fusion happening here. Stop wondering and just try it. You’ll want to come back for more. And there are plenty of options for multiple visits. We just went with tacos this time around. But we will be back for other types and rotisserie chicken looks insanely good. Our stomachs just weren’t big enough!

Awesome spot. Amazing owners. Tasty food. Cannot say enough about the experience. The two cuisines come together in a beautiful way. Parking can be a little tricky; but it could have been because of the event. Live music and henna artist. Tortilla home made and in house. You can taste the family/culture in the food. The owners were very hands on; checked on us and ensured the experience was lovely. Cool outdoor space to eat. The shopping center neighbors are a bit different, and the parking lot can attract some activity. Highly recommend the ambli roasted chicken.

The food and service here absolutely SLAPS!!! Mike talked us through the whole menu. We got three tacos (asada, birria, barbacoa) and two 1/4 chicken plates (garlic one & Smokey one) and holy cow was everything flavorful and expertly made. Will definitely come back here. I’d post pics except we demolished the food.

Had high hopes, but honestly didn’t think the flavors worked together like I had hoped. The tostadas were probably the favorite. I didn’t like really like the nachos. The birria was average. And the bowl we got didn’t have a lot of flavor. But the team working there is super nice. The side of cauliflower was actually worth getting too.

My husband and I recently ordered catering from Saucy Chick for our wedding party. Marcel was very patient with us in answering questions about the dishes, and communicating on logistics. The food was delivered on time and our guests absolutely LOVED the food. Cannot recommend Marcel and his team at Saucy Chick enough. Will gladly have them cater at future events too. Thank you for the great experience Saucy Chick!

I was excited to try this place because my friend wanted to meet up here and tried herself as well. We will not return. The food was bland tasteless flavorless not worth the money that they charge! Majority of your seating is outside in the patio and when it’s a hot day you don’t want to be out there eating! They just feel short. They should have seasoned their food we couldn’t tell what was Indian and what was Mexican. But the items you see in the picture not worth what you’re paying! I don’t even think I would pay for it if it was cheaper that’s how bad it was.

This is a relatively new location that popped up.
The chicken here is very flavorful and moist. Only caveat is how small the portions are.

For the price to weight ratio, you would imagine the amount of food you’ll get would be pretty filling, but don’t forget, weight is most likely in raw weight.

I ordered the 1/4 lb set which is $16 and it was only, ok filling. The chicken itself was superb though, and the house green sauce is really addicting. If only the pricing for the meal was cheaper, I would most definitely come here more often.

I can understand the price tag they have however, just that given this economy, they’ll really need to upkeep their quality to warrant dining here.
