So, we’ve always seen Sauced Wood Fired Pizza pop up when looking for pizza places to try. After returning from Hocking Hills last weekend (where we had an absolutely delicious pizza) my wife REALLY wanted to find a local wood fired pizza place.
So I made the executive decision based on reviews and pictures to try SWFP (sorry, not typing it all out every time) for our 1st time. We Got the Bourbon Chicken (No Onions), The Works (with a side of Basil Pesto sauce) *Each with Happy Ending crust*, 1 lb wings (Cajun), a side house salad (Ranch), and a cannoli.
Everything was amazing. Wings were perfectly cooked, meaty and moist. (My only gripe is more flavor options . Maybe combining the Cajun seasoning into the house ranch (wink wink nudge nudge). She thoroughly enjoyed the house ranch and salad. Her pizza was cooked perfectly and had that lovely char in spots on the crust. The Bourbon Chicken was excellent.
We cannot wait to go back and try more! Thank you again for a great 1st experience.
*I started eating the wings before I took a picture ♂️ *

I’m a pizza snob here and I’ll tell you this place checks all the boxes. I was greeted as I entered and was informed with a smile when my order would be ready. The pizza and breadsticks are absolutely delicious. Deserts are great as well. If you are in the area and are hungry for pizza, this is your place.

The bulldog pizza was a surprising flavor bomb. I’m not normally a big fan of sweet & savory, but this pizza pulled it off well. The sneaky low heat of the peppadew peppers, the savory sausage, the slight char of the crust, and the sweet & tangy sauce all came together for a delicious bite! I would definitely come here again if I’m in Cleveland, OH! The only downside is that I could’ve, although I shouldn’t, eat the whole 6-slice pizza myself! It was still well worth the $12 price.

Great experience stopping by and dining in. Friendly service and a lot of good options to choose from. Ordered the Celevelander which was delicious and the ricotta stood out as a great contrast to some of the other ingredients that this pizza came with. Also ordered the pepperoni bread and I can’t say for sure, but may have contained more cheese than the entire state of Wisconsin. Well worth the stop.

Sauced Wood Fired Pizza catered my wedding and I cannot say enough good things about them. They were easy to communicate with and the food service was amazing! Not to mention the PIZZA! For appetizers we got so many compliments on the crostinis! 10/10 I highly recommend for an event / party!! photo credentials: Shelley Carpenter

Sauced is a fantastic thin crust pizza shop with an amazingly delicious New Haven style pizza (the only good New Haven style I’ve had in Northeast Ohio!). If you get it, make sure you order it well-done so there is a nice char to accompany the garlic and cheese masterpiece. Their other pizzas are great as well and a nice break from the breadier, sweet-sauce pizzas you often find here. I’ll note that their pizzas aren’t huge, so if you are feeding a room full of ravenous teenagers, you might want to look elsewhere. Their wings are also very good and worth a try.
This place is more of a carry-out place than a dine-in place (no delivery). Seating is limited, so be aware before you plan to eat there. Parking is easy, as they have several spots in front and on the sides of the building, and you can also park in the lot out back.

I got the meatballs, they did not taste good at all, had a burnt color to them, were not moist. I also got the garlic bread, was very good. I would not have left a review on line if someone had picked up the phone as I called to let someone know. I had been looking forward to them, was very dissapointed.

This was my first time going to Sauced Wood Fired Pizza, I got the calzone Saturday night and it was delicious! It has moved into my number one spot to go for a calzone, ahead of Dinas and Roman Fountain. The dough was light and airy with a good chew and even better flavor. The ingredients were spot on, the sausage, mushrooms and caramelized onions I had were excellent and the sauce was fantastic. Will be going back to try other things – along with another calzone.

This was a really fun and delicious pizza location. The converted gas station into a pizza shop gives way to an amazing pie. The overall location is clean however, not extremely high on the ambience list, But the overall pizza and service definitely made up for it. We ordered a mushroom appetizer as well as a pizza. We could not be more impressed with the taste of all items. The pizza crust was just right with a good sweetness to the sauce, but not too much and the toppings were the perfect amount and very fresh. Overall very pleased with this location and highly recommend others to check it out.

Let me just start by saying, WOW!
As a pizza enthusiast I love trying AUTHENTIC pizza and this place checks all the boxes. We went basic, we got the New Haven Style Cheese and it was out of this world. True to New Haven. Second, we were told to try their Garlic Parmesan Wings… easily the best Garlic Parm wings in the CLE area BY A MILE. The House Made Meatballs were also incredible. The sauce was so good that we took some of it home to use with our leftovers. If you’re looking for THE authentic pizza spot, this is the one!!!
