Tonight we got SAUCED and it’s soooo good!! I love the Jalapeño Garlic Bread. The pizza is delicious with quality ingredients and super yummy crust. Christina, the owner is just amazingly sweet and hospitable. We’ve only dined in once and had a great time but normally do take out. They even have a rewards system on their website for free items and today we got a free pizza. Highly recommend.

We just enjoyed an excellent lunch at Sauced! My daughter is a vegetarian and she Loved the vegan meatball sub!! My son had the regular meatball sub and enjoyed every bite! My husband and I split a large supreme pizza and it was fantastic! The owner was so sweet and full of energy, making sure everything was to our liking. Found a great little pizza shop on our last night in San Diego. Very friendly and helpful owner. She was great! Bread sticks super good. Pizza was good , we liked the sauce and crust. Some of the bottom of the Crust was a little burnt but still tasty.

First, it was nice being treated warmly by the owner. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was hard, sauce bland and meatball just ok . My husband didn’t like it and refused to finish even 1/3. Then, I was eating my meatball and I felt a stringy object inside. It was not a hair, but felt like elastic string. That was it for me. Glad we ordered the antipasto salad or we would have left totally hungry. I mentioned the “string” found in the meatball to the owner; she asked the chef who thought it could have been plastic from a wrapper. I’m sure glad I didn’t eat it! I don’t need to pay to eat plastic for dinner, but we paid (no offer of comp meal or apology- just that they try to be careful). We packed up the remaining food to give to dogs later. We spent $40 plus tip and had to go home to eat.

We stopped in for lunch and we loved this place. The owner seated us and served us, so the service (and conversation) was outstanding. As nice and attentive as she was, the pizza was the star of the show. Some of the best crust and sauce we have had in San Diego and the cheese and toppings were high quality too. Top all that off with a fun, but still family vibe and a nice beer and wine selection, and you have yourself a winner. Find your way to Pacific Beach to enjoy this little gem – they’re doing things the right way here.

Alright here we go … we LOVE pizza. First timers at Sauced Pizzeria. Greeted immediately with a friendly smile and picked our seats. Older homey feel inside, nothing new or modern BUT loved how clean it was and the authentic look of the place. We started with the famous breadsticks and marinara sauce, SO GOOD. Hot warm perfect amount of parm, made fresh, highly recommend. Then we had the meatballs. Tasty, sauce was good, cheese on top melted and good. Meatballs were ok, I was hoping for a little more flavor or garlic. Then pizza time … SO GOOD. The pizza was thin but a great crust. We got two pizzas one was half four cheese and pep with the other half four cheese pep and jalapeño. Then we got the chicken pesto with sun dried tomato VERY GOOD! Service was over the top AWESOME. The owner Christina greeted us and checked in often but not overbearing. Super sweet and friendly. Told us about the place and how she started. Staff all seemed happy to be there. Prices seemed fair not cheap but not pricey. And then last but not least because you know this will make or break a place for me, the bathroom was so clean. Also noticed they have an “A” rating so that was super cool. I mean this is the spot yall gotta check it out! See the pics!

She personally wrote notes to everyone. It was so adorable!
Not to mention, she was the one who packaged everything up and made sure I was satisfied and happy with everything before I left, her personal attention really went along way!
The food was spectacular! The vegan cheesy bread was absolutely delicious!!!
Gluten-free pizza, Alfredo, pasta, meatballs, all fantastic, flavorful dishes, I would highly recommend!
