The reason for my visit was to eat some good dinner before we go to a king’s basketball game. I ordered and enjoyed the brisket plate with Cajun rice and baked beans on the sides. The brisket had good flavor, good char on the sides. The baked beans and rice was good. My picture is added was mid meal so I could get the picture before I took the picture.

I had a really great experience at this BBQ spot in Sacramento! I tried the three-meat combo, and it did not disappoint. The brisket was definitely the star ,super tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. You could tell it had been slow-cooked to perfection. I also had pulled pork and ribs, and both were equally delicious. The ribs had a nice char on the outside but were fall-off-the-bone tender on the inside. The pulled pork was moist and flavorful without being overly saucy.
What I loved most was the variety of sauces they had on the table , you could try different ones with each bite and it totally changed the flavor profile in the best way. Whether you like it sweet, tangy, spicy, or smoky, there was something for everyone.
The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or family. The service was friendly and fast, and the staff made great suggestions when we weren’t sure what to order.
If you’re in Sacramento and craving real, quality BBQ, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for sure—maybe next time I’ll try the burnt ends or their famous mac & cheese!
Check out some pics.

Called in an order three meats which included brisket, but it was out so we got brisket burnt ends chicken wings. Those are two dollars each more if you added it to the three meat and ribs looks good, but from my personal preference, the ribs had no flavor very lightly seasoned and they weren’t as soft fall off the bone as I would think that you would get from a legit barbecue place the chicken wings were clearly barbecued but again a little bit tough for my taste the ribs I’m not sure they’re cooking process but when I’ve had them before, it seems like they were cooked longer and they were more Tender. Granted I came in there about 8 o’clock at night. Maybe they were cooked earlier in the day and just dried out, I didn’t get to try the mashed potatoes or the mac & cheese. They were left out of my order. Shame on me for not double checking all the little boxes that they put in the bag. I did get the little crumb cake with a scoop of ice cream for $13 overall I’m filling underwhelmed I paid $72 for one plate and a dessert. I was expecting this place to knock my socks off with flavor and textures. I tried calling back to see if I get my side dishes. No answer They’re probably sitting back in the kitchen right now, eating it because it was an order that didn’t get fulfilled. For the price and what I got I’d probably will not come back. Maybe it’s just a bad day bad batch just my experience

I discovered this place during a recent visit to Sacramento. It’s located in DOCO right near Golden 1 Center. I had the 1 Meat Plate with Smoked Brisket, Slaw and Texas Toast. The meat was fork tender and tasty, but a little dry. The slaw had onions, which I didn’t like and the dressing was not the typical creamy style, but was watery. The Texas toast was good, but could have had a little more flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful, but it became very loud as more people arrived. There are several screens showing various sports programs, and there is an extensive drink menu. Overall a good place to eat, especially if you like BBQ, and it’s family friendly with a kids menu. The prices are on par with similar establishments in the area. Although not perfect, I would eat here again and certainly recommend it to others despite its shortcomings.

The place was packed for the Sacramento Kings game. So you had sports going on the TV, normal banter, and drinks flying.
It was a nice meal prior to the game. We ordered 2 Two combo meats which was more than enough food for 3 adults. The ribs were fall off the bone but the bark was a bit tough for me. The pork belly burnt ends were ok. Maybe if we had the option of choosing what flavor we wanted on our burnt ends, it would’ve been better. The smoked wingsssssssssssss were the star of the show for me! The smokiness, the crispness, and the overall flavor. It was amazing. We opt for naked wings and it the right option. The Brisket was juicy and tender. Good chew and delicately tender. Bumpkins appetizer is a good sharable option. You taste the BBQ and its not overly sweet. Cooked well. I thoroughly enjoy the meal overall. The sides were delicious as well: Mac and cheese, garlic green beans, garlic mash, and corn bread. We were all stuffed and still had leftovers. Price is reasonable. Because of the it being a game night, ot was slow to get started, but once she realized we were in her section. The ball was rolling after that.

Salads weren’t great, but a lot of really good appetizer and tasty meat options. Service was excellent and they handle large parties very well.

I’m from Texas, so I hardly order brisket anywhere because I always leave disappointed. My husband dragged me here and ordered brisket, and I have to say it was really good. I would definitely come again just for the brisket! The sweet potato tots are also really good with a perfect amount of salt.

My husband and I tried Sauced for the first time and it was everything we hoped it would be. We both got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich-getting hotter temperature- (limited time only!!) with waffles fries- my husband got house rub on his fries. We also got the fried pickles. It was all delicious!! The beer and mules were also amazing. The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun and we can’t wait to go back soon!

Down town “hip” bbq joint. The menu has a large selection to pick from and can be a bit overwhelming as everything sounds amazing.
The fired pickels and Brussel sprouts are good choices for an apatiteser. Sadly, they were out of pretzels when we visited. All the bbq was well seasoned and tender. The pork could do with a little more smoke, and the chicken wings were a little bland. The sauces were all flavourful and complemented anyone’s tastes.
Staff was friendly, and food came out fast considering there were a lot of large groups there. Only mark against them is the priced are high but are expected for the location. But the quality helps make the price palatable.
