My husband and I had lunch at Sauced on a Saturday. It was nice for watching football and such. It wasn’t very loud, and the service was good. My husband got the tachos and added steak – would recommend! I wish I had gotten that. I got chicken tenders tossed in Carolina Gold sauce with tots. The tots were good, but my tenders were kind of hard to eat. The sauce was spicier than I expected, but that’s no one’s fault. The tenders were hard to cut even with a butter knife, so they could have been better in my opinion. Overall, it was pretty good!

Monday evening around 5:30 we stopped in to try a different pizza place. We were seated promptly and we ordered our drinks while deciding on which pizza to order. We chose the thin crust house pizza and it was very good. The crust was a little soggy for my taste but the flavor was really good. The restaurant was clean and a little noisy.

Visited at around 8 on a Sunday (Super Bowl) at first our chicken tenders came out dry, black and basically uneatable… BUT when we mentioned it to our waitress, they made fresh ones, and they discounted our meal 50% ! We weren’t upset at all, but they went above and beyond to make it up! That waitress was wonderful.

Sauced is a great local bar with a pretty good selection of craft beers and great bar food and pizza. Courtney is one the best bartenders. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff.

Great food. The server was amazing. She handled the whole restaurant without getting overwhelmed. Any less wait staff would’ve most certainly dropped the ball. but great overall service even with having so many things going on. Absolutely recommend this pizza the crust is amazing.

We’d been meaning to try Sauced for quite a while. It’s on the north side of main street in Waynesville and is generally very busy on high tourism days. We were able to wander in on an easy day when only about a dozen patrons were there, mostly bellied up to the bar.
The server was very nice and very new to his occupation, no big deal, we’re not demanding and generally have very few concerns.
We ordered meatballs (the app), cheese dip, tacos and a burger.
The cheese dip came out in a bowl that was almost completely recongealed. It was warmish, but clearly had been dosed into the little bowl long before we got it. We didn’t want to say anything but had to break it up with our silverwear to get it out.
The meatballs were for my youngest and came out warm on the outside and FROZEN SOLID inside. The server didn’t seem to know what to do about this, so we asked to prepare a new one that was thoroughly cooked. I’m pretty sure they reheated what was served, but that was fine. I tried a bit of the marinara they had on it and it was beyond “excessively” salty.
The burger was cooked properly to temperature and was nothing special, but my kid liked it. The tacos came out and my wife and I were almost afraid to eat it nearly everything else was undercooked.
My bbq chicken was lukewarm and they gave me the wrong kind of tacos. Her choripolo was slightly warmer but at least it was what she ordered.
I don’t think we’ll be back as even if everything was cooked properly the first time what we did get just wasn’t great.

First, our food was really good and brought to us in an appropriate timeframe. Our server lacked personality and attentiveness. The atmosphere was odd and a couple of loud college kids were pretty obnoxious. However, that’s to be expected in a restaurant with a full bar. Definitely not a dealbreaker for us, but good to know if that isn’t your style.
