My family just ate at Sauced for the very first time, and we will not be going back. While the staff were very friendly, the service was extremely slow and overall the food was terrible.

My husband had the “jumbo” wings, and while he said the hot sauce was good, the wings were standard size. My 9 year old ordered boneless wings with sauce on the side, and the chicken was so greasy and very pale, as if it had not been fully deep fried, or allowed time for the grease to drip off. My 5 year old ordered just fries, and they were very, very greasy, and again, so pale they barely looked cooked. My 28 year old ordered a smash burger and an order of cheesesteak fries, and both were disappointing. The smash burger was very small and he said it was gross, and the fries were super greasy and undercooked just like my younger son’s fries. I ordered a cheesesteak, and it was by far the worst cheesteak that I have ever eaten. The “steak” was mushy and oddly colored, and it had absolutely no steak flavor at all. The onions and peppers were barely cooked and definitely weren’t helping the taste at all. The steak reminded me of a very poor quality Steak-Um. We also ordered the loaded nachos without sour cream, and even they were awful. The chips had an odd flavor, the “ground beef” was the exact same substance as the cheessteak “meat”, the cheese sauce did not taste good, there were only a few tiny pieces of jalapeño, and there was no queso and no side of salsa.

Another thing that was very annoying was that our food wasn’t all served at the same time.

We found the menu to be limited, especially because much of what is listed on their website is not available. That was a huge disappointment. Even the prices are not accurate. The jumbo boneless wings were supposed to be $1 each, but we were charged $12.60 prior to tax for a dozen. The boneless wings were not on the restaurant menu but they were $9.45 on the receipt. My cheesesteak was supposed to be $13 but was $13.65 prior to tax.

It’s very sad because the server (Deatra) and the owner(?) were very kind. So kind that we didn’t even have the heart to tell them how bad everything was. While we usually give places a second chance, I don’t think that’s a possibility here. Kindness can’t overcome all of the other issues.

On a side note, it is very loud in the restaurant, and I personally found the volume of the television to be overwhelming.

I’ve heard the wings can be hit or miss. Luckily the wings I got were pretty good. The sauce was nice and the wings were crispy. I put in an order online and when I showed up they hadn’t even started. I wasn’t bothered. I sat down and had a beer. The restaurant was pretty slow so not having the only order ready kinda stunk but it played in my favor. Overall an ‘average’ experience.

The hotel restaurant was closed that I was staying at. Didn’t want to drive anywhere, Sauced was very close and looked good. The server recommended the mozzarella sticks, which normally I don’t like, but thank God I listened to her!!!! They were amazing!!!! The steamed shrimp were perfection in a bowl, the mushroom melt was just as good! The sweet tea was even on another level!!!! This place hit the spot in a real big way!!!!!! The decor is even very interesting! If you have the choice…… check it out!!!!

The sign out front said opening in April, we saw people inside so we tried the door, big mistake. Service was slow, and the food was even worse. Cheesesteak rolls were burnt, the surf and turf fries tasted like burnt fryer oil, and were topped with canned shrimp and melted brick velveeta.

This is by far our favorite local restaurant – the food is delicious no matter what we order. Sometimes we dine in and sometimes take it to go. Our favorite items are the wings (the bourbon sauce is delicious!), cheesesteak, salmon cheesesteak, and crab legs. Now that they have a new space, there’s more room for entertainment like karaoke on Thursday’s which is always fun with DJ Tyler. We haven’t done the escape room upstairs yet, but hope to soon! Love that the owners are accepting of everyone and have worked to create a safe space for the community too

Edit 10/28/25 : if you go on DoorDash and see the restaurants Burgerland,Salt & Rye, Smash Burger Shack, Pasta La Vista, American Eatery, Bodega Bites Chopped Cheese, Grilled Quesadilla Company, Cheesesteak Daddy, or Crispy Chick. They all have the same address as this place. It’s just the same food under a different name. Just fyi.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this place isn’t even trying to be a good place to eat. The food is plain gross. Mozzarella sticks were floppy which means they weren’t fried or even baked, just microwaved. I truly couldn’t eat them, they were foul. Sprite was pale pink which probably means they don’t clean out the fountain well. Ordered a sandwich on a potato roll and got white bread. The fries are also probably microwaved. Not crispy at all, just a soggy pile. Really disappointed that this is the replacement for Grand Illusion. They are not worthy. I will not be back and I do not recommended eating here.

What a disappointment. The chicken and mushroom cheese steaks were the worst, blandest things we’ve ever been served. Stale rolls, and .. no sauce? Isn’t the name of the joint SAUCED?!? And all for only 14 bucks each. Truthfully has a better sub from a convenience store last night. Suggest you do the same.

So I don’t like putting this on establishments. But the with the name “sauced” you should have a grip on wings. They looked boiled. The cheese steak was good!
But the wings need work dude.
Service was a 19/10.
Atmosphere 10/10
Parking -6/10
Wings … 2/10
Drinks seemed reasonably priced

I order loaded nachos and get a call 10 minutes later that they don’t have that, they ask to replace it with chicken tenders and I say alright. They then proceed to give me this for $11. In what city are these whack chicken tenders worth $11?? Now I see why everyone be complaining about this place
