Apparently they are no longer cleaning tables for patrons. Making boxes for pizza was the top priority. Food is good. They run out of tea before closing but just go earlier. You should bring wipes to clean your own table. 13 dirty tables inside and almost every table outside was dirty.

For several years, I have been a regular patron of Sauce. Regrettably, I was deeply disappointed with my recent take out order. I had anticipated a substantial portion of protein. However, we received three regular-sized thin pizzas (the pig, spicy chicken and chicken Caesar salad pizza), which appeared to be primarily crust-based. The toppings were sparse, leaving me with the impression that we were not receiving the value for our money. Consequently, I do not intend to return to Sauce for future dining experiences. Also, i would appreciate for the pick-up area to be tidy up. I didn’t see a clear sign indicating whether we should grab our own items or wait for the server.

Ordered my lunch and was a little late picking it up so it had to sit in the warmer for a bit. As they were gathering my order the waitress asked the cooks behind the counter where my garlic bread was. He responded and said it was already in the container. The manager (assumed position, not confirmed) then told him not to place the garlic bread in the container moving forward.
My problem is that at this point three people were aware of the error (in front of the customer whose food was in question), addressed and corrected the behavior, and then didn’t offer to replace the bread that has now been sitting in sauce, collecting moisture after sitting covered in the warmer.
If they hadn’t addressed the issue directly in front of me, I wouldn’t have left this review because every other experience has been great. Please don’t lower your quality of standards when you’re one of the few restaurants that’s “still got it”.

Affordable brick oven pizza
If you’re looking for a good quality
woodfired cooked pizza that cost under 15$, then this is a perfect place to visit.
The quality & ingredients are great for what you get. The restaurant is clean and organized. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The inside gets very busy and has limited seating. I recommend coming before or after peak hours.

We usually enjoy coming to Sauce and have visited this location multiple times. Unfortunately, tonight was not a great experience, and similar issues have happened before, which is why I felt the need to write this review. I’m open to updating it if the situation is addressed.
This evening we ordered two salads, an extra roll, and a cookie. We first tried ordering online through the app, which wasn’t available. We then called to place the order by phone, but that wasn’t an option either. Because of this, we decided to come in and order to-go.
When we arrived at the register, we weren’t greeted. I politely mentioned that we hadn’t been able to order online or by phone, and the response we received was simply that they were “really busy.” There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience.
We waited over 20 minutes while watching customers both ahead of us and behind us receive their orders. During that time, we also saw our salads sitting on the counter and being moved around for about 10 minutes. When we finally asked about our order, the same cashier responded rudely and seemed visibly annoyed that we spoke up.
When the food was finally handed to us, it was done in a rushed and careless manner. Once we got to the car, we realized the extra roll and cookie were missing from the bag. At that point, we didn’t feel comfortable going back in due to the earlier interaction, so we left.
This experience was disappointing, and as a result, I’ll think twice before ordering from this location again.

I came here blindly, and I was pleasantly surprised. The lasagna pie is wonderful, and everything you would imagine on a pizza. In addition, I had the white pizza with figs, and, arugula. Yes you read that correctly; figs on a pizza. It makes no sense , but it works.
It’s akin to chicken, and waffles or bacon with ice cream. The fig pizza is phenomenal. Last but, not least is the cheesy bread. All
I can say is it’s perfect. From the bread to the dipping sauce served with it. Lastly, I want to give praise to the manager Delora. She was kind, informative, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend The Sauce.

It’s good food but not amazing. I got the caprese salad with chicken. It didn’t have enough sauce. I think with more sauce I would have been content.
I also ordered the pesto chicken pizza. It definitely needs a sauce. It’s just the dough, pesto chicken, tomatoes and some cheese. It’s a really dry pizza. It could use some sauce.
The workers were great, attentive and definitely cared.

The food was terrible, my Sons chicken, broccoli with cheese was soupy. The waitress didn’t come out and asked us or check on us one time. The tables outside four of them had bowls, dolverware and plates left with food. No one came and cleaned up any of it. I’m shocked. I will never go back to Sauce again totally disgusted. It used to be such a nice restaurant. It has gone downhill and I will never go back.

I went there today for lunch January 23. I ordered the chicken chili and broccoli. There’s no cheese that stuck to the noodles. They Were soaking in a puddle of water/cheese sauce. Horrible! Not only that no one came to check up on us if we needed anything else or to ask us how our meal was. As my mother and I were leaving, we noticed there were three or four tables Not including ours with Plates just sitting there for people that left. These tables were like this when she bought us our food. She had absolutely no intention of bringing in the Tablesettings from the people that left . I will never return to this restaurant. When you do not have adults running in an establishment this is what happens.

Ok – my experience is with a “delivery order” from Uber eats. Ordered a pizza with thin crust, and added meatballs. I live less than 3 miles from the restaurant. Delivery time anticipated? 27-35 minutes per uber eats. OK so far. Time slipped… and slipped… My pizza showed up 55 minutes after ordering it. Not too concerned because there was probably a delay in cooking? Actually, Cold, stale, and very, very unappealing. Pizza’s delivered in a cardboard box with no warmer, perhaps? No idea, but not my issue. Very disappointed. Almost no sauce on a thin crust pizza, which left the cold stale pizza very flavorless. Definitely will not repeat. Too bad, too, because I really have liked this restaurant in the past.
