Sauce on the Side may be quick, and take food and drink orders at the counter, but we are not the standard fast-casual restaurant. After ordering food and drinks, we invite our guests to enjoy a hospitable, full-service experience – food, refills and additional service is provided at the table without the guest having to get up from their seat. Our food is award-winning, craveable and comforting. We make our own dough, prepare our sauces and dressings in-house, chop fresh produce and source high quality meats and cheeses. All of this work, allows us to deliver food to be proud of.

The food was absolutely excellent. Exactly what you need on a cold wet rainy day for that comfort food vibe. The staff was very nice and brought our food out. Piping hot with a smile. The sodas were unique, especially the ski and Cherry cola option and I am not a soda drinker but I had two glasses with our meal. The sauce pairs excellently with the calzones and the food was super affordable for the massive portion to get. Definitely some place to try and return to again.

This is my new favorite spot in Indy! The service was excellent and I’ve never tasted a calzone like the one I got there and I can’t even tell you how wonderful the smores calzone was it was like nothing I’ve ever ate before! Awesome

Wanted a good place to eat and this calzone restaurant looked really good so we decided to give it a try!! I got cock-a-doodle noodle calzone and my husband got the duke calzone. We got to try each others and both was delicious!! They also had awesome sodas on tap!! The woman running the register was amazing as well! Overall if you love calzones, they have some really great delicious food

This restaurant is right up my alley, so take it with a grain of salt when it say this place is amazing. The calzones were big and filling. You could split it but I think you would leave a little wanting. The options are as varied as your imagination. If you don’t like ricotta cheese make sure you tell them. The desert calzone we got, s’more, was delicious.
My wife loved the beet salad she got, and the starter was her favorite thing.

The salad was fresh and well-served, with a delicious dressing. And the calzone? Deifnitely surpassed my expectations: it was amazingly cheesy, big and so full. The cherry on top was the variety of sodas, that were all tasty.

I have not tried the infamous calzones but they looked delicious and freshly made. I got the small Beets Me salad with chicken and the portion was more than adequate for a full meal, but the plate it was served one was too small, the food was spilling out of it.
The salad was delicious and not overly dressed though, and the service is superb.

What an amazing find! The service was excellent, making the experience even better. I was impressed by my meal, but the s’mores calzone was on another level—wonderfully unique and truly one-of-a-kind. I’ve never had anything like it! This has quickly become my new favorite spot in Indy. Don’t miss out on this place!

The manager and staff were awesome! I ordered for a large group for take-out meals, but decided at the last minute to eat in the restaurant. They were more than happy to help us do that! Everyone raved about the food! And if you are gluten-free, all my gluten-free folks said it was the best they ever had!!! Highly recommend!
