Pizzas were first cooked on the shields of roman soldiers over an open flame. In 1889, the first modern pizza was created by renowned baker Rafael Esposito. He was commissioned by King Umberto I and queen Margarita to make three pizza choices. The Queen then chose the pizza that evoked the colors of the Italian flag. Green, white and red, and with that choice, theMargarita pizza was born. Saturn Pizza has researched and revived these long-lost legendary pizza recipes to make pizzas that are TRULY OUT OF THIS WORLD. We hope you enjoy!

Love this place! Pizza is solid, service is great and they have a great selection of oddball “craft” snacks and foods that you wouldnt find in a normal store.

The hot dogs are AWESOME. Definitely worth the stop to support a great local business!

Tried Saturn pizza for the first time last night and loved it! My favorite was the A-Z pie (I think it’s a special), and it was melty, cheesy, garlicky goodness with the stuffed crust but still crispy on the bottom. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. I waited around 15-20 minutes in my car and they brought the fresh pizzas to me. They had an interesting selection of drinks and ice cream as well. Can’t wait to order from here again!! 🙂

This place is wildly good and underrated. Pizza was super fresh, lots of unique/unheard of soda flavors but most of all, customer service was spot on.

Super friendly people, amazing hole in the wall spot with more than reasonable prices! Can’t wait to try the other pizzas!

Pictured: pizza slice, key lime ice cream and this pecan butter flavored soda.

Heard and read the hype and decided to give it a try. Nice little place inside of a gas station. Don’t let that turn you away. The pizza is DELICIOUS. Tried the New Haven, it had a sweet sauce, perfectly cooked crust and the mozzarella was nice and stringy as you took that first bite. Prices are very reasonable. I will certainly be making a trip back to support a young owner trying to make a name for himself in a tough industry.

The Pizza was actually FIRE VERY VERY GOOD if you like the thinner type crust nice and well done so when u actually pick the slice up it doesnt just fall over …definitely a place to try and they have all different types and they all looked better than the next. I got the old school grandmas pie its called a planet’s name there but still same thing and my wife and kids really ate it all up.

In between both of our visits to the Doctor, squeezed in a quick lunch.

Before my appointment, while still at home came across a post on Saturn Pizza at 592 Rte. 70 in the Conoco Gas Mini Mart on the corner of Route 70 & Cedar ridge Avenue, Brick.

I’ve been driving past this place for the past 6 months and had planned to stop in to experience some Gas Station Pizza.

As this mornings poster implied it was pretty good.

Now it doesn’t compare to the likes of the higher end and over priced places, but it was pretty good.

The crust is preformed and baked, the size is 12 inch’s, the thickness is definitely thin crust.

Again, we all have pizza snobs in our list of friends, family and casual acquaintance who will bad mouth anything that is not fresh rolled dough.

Well the taste and texture was pleasing, better than those cracker, flaky and thin offerings by Carmen’s Pizzeria at Pete’s and Elda’s plus a few other’s.

The ingredients are fresh, good quality with a pleasant taste experience.

It was also quick, they are using electric ovens with 600 degree temperatures and depending on the type of pizza, it takes 8 – 10 minutes for a piping hot, burn the roof of your mouth.

Now the outside ring of crust is charred and may appear burnt, but the rest of the undercarriage was nicely marbled.

We ordered the “Earthling Pie”, which is your typical cheese and sauce pie!!!

This is what Kit likes.

The other Pizza was the”Uranus” and it has, red sauce, red onion, fresh garlic, jalapenos and mozzarella.

I love my jalapenos and for taste, I was very pleased.

Finally, I know that everyone has different tastes and likes, so I will leave it up to the individual to make their own decisions.

For me, it was a worthwhile visit and lunch experience.

When we were paying our bill, the Pizziola asked how was the pizza. We informed him that we liked it, asked if they could adapt the cooking times down a little for those who might not enjoy char.

He was very receptive and thanked us.

Place was very dirty, saw visible signs of infestation. Pizza was inedible, crust was frozen and the sauce was canned. Stay away from this place at all costs. Also the pizzas were SMALL and EXPENSIVE. One pie could feed 1.5 people. I would compare the style and flavor of this pizza to that of dominos, but 5x the price.

EDIT: owner claims im not a customer so I uploaded a picture of the email confirmation.

Really trash location. Stay far away from this place.

Found this on Yelp while on the area. Pizza was very good. Nice thin crust, no flop, good cheese to sauce ratio, sauce itself was good and well balanced, nice amount of toppings, reasonably priced and the guy running the place was friendly and accommodating.

It’s very good, but not life changing, but if I lived in the areas I’d certainly be a repeat customer.

Well done.

Ok hardest thing in the world is finding a decent pizza place that will cook a well done pizza and actually make it good. Better yet great! Saturn pizza has become a staple for me – probably going to review more here in the future can’t get enough of this place. Everyone should try it at least once
