Wowza! They didn’t disappoint! The service was phenomenal! Our guy was so friendly, we bantered back and forth, he just was awesome.
The food was stellar! Big portions! Flavor was on point.
We travel quite a bit to Spokane for work. Satellite will now be our go-to for breakfast!!
I tried the lasagna soup and a Reuben sandwich. My wife got the club with fries. I thought the soup was great and the Reuben was decent. It needed more thousand island dressing, but I was able to ask for more. My wife said her club “hit the spot.”
Definitely will come back when we are in town and are looking for a late night dinner.
How can you NOT be swept off your feet by a diner that continually plays 90’s pop classics in the ultimate Americana atmosphere with the COOLEST staff serving all those “bad” things we “shouldn’t” eat that will piss off the “avocado toast” and “hummus”-eating crowd? Lol. I love this place! So glad I found it! Great for early morning after the bar OR after waking up.
I ordered German sausage on the side and the “Hot Mess” which was hash browns with eggs over easy, bacon, mushrooms and fried onions with gravy…Soooo Gooood!! I had the Prickly Pear “MEGAmosa” as my drink.
This is important as you wouldn’t be able to tell management has changed unless you have been eating at this establishment for a long time.
Instead the new management has simply increased the prices across the board, the staff seems incredibly “off” the op-tempo seems as though there are changes and few are happy.
Some of the most unique menu items such as the Hen Fruit on the Red River and the Cinnamon Rolls have been removed. While seeming superficial I have to admit these changes make the overall “feel” of the location more generalized and lacking its “original” feeling.
There is an overall 2$ increase for every menu option, less overall options, and even the flavor feels “less” for some reason despite being common breakfast menu options.
Overall the restaurant has simply decreased on all levels. Quality of food, options of food, originality, and size of plates. The only increase is the menu prices.
Personally I feel sorry for the changes as we used to recommend the restaurant to our students at the local SERE school. We may soon need to change this if the prices continue up and the quality continues to flatline.
Love you satellite, sorry to see the old management go.
