What a trip! Road from Wildwood to Gainesville on the motorcycles, was worth the trip. Pizza was fantastic and right out of the oven.! talk to the owner, who was busy putting tiles that he makes by hand and fires in his own kiln and attach them to the wall of the outside is place as wild! I had such a lovely evening here with my family! Satchel’s Pizza is truly one of a kind. The decoration is easily the best part—it’s so creative and colorful, filled with upcycled materials and local art that give the whole place a magical, eclectic feel.

Just wow!!! This place is AWESOME! Want to eat a pizza in a greenhouse? Sure! How about an old Volkswagen bus? Ok! Picture in a plane on the second floor? Why not, kids would love it! This place has it all! Oh and the pizza is pretty dang good too! They also make their own pops, which were interesting (worth trying one time), but you are definitely going for the pizza and ambience!
It’s about 15 minutes off I-75 and, for me, is a must stop if you are in or driving by Gainesville!!!

First time here. Read reviews and heard from friends that this was the place to go. So happy we did, food is awesome, atmosphere is funky and the staff is above and beyond.
Had the house salad, small can feed 4 people. The best salad we have eaten. Ordered the pan pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and ricotta. The best pizza ever. Better than Leonardos and they were our favorite.
We came from Jacksonville and this will be a monthly trip from now on.

I went here for both lunch and dinner and really enjoyed it each time. The place has such a unique artistic vibe, it feels fun just being there.
The pizza was tasty with a crispy crust and fresh toppings. The lunch special salad was also surprisingly good and definitely worth adding. I also tried their homemade ginger ale and cola, and both were refreshing and had a nice, natural taste, definitely better than regular sodas.

Great pizza and vibe. The place is especially gorgeous at night. Apparently, this place is quite popular so finding a parking spot onsite can be tricky. Still very worth it! We were lucky enough to find out there was live music that night.

The pizza was delicious but the eye candy everywhere on this site is the gift that keeps on giving. The restaurant’s indoor and outdoor tile/mosaic art from found objects and toys reminded me of the three dimensional mosaics in Philadelphia by Isaiah Zagar. The website was also fun to read. What a personal and community project this pizza place is. Thanks for a fun evening!

Loved the sauce, nice doughy crust with the perfect crisp bottom.
Lot of weirdness to explore – stop in the bar and gift shop. Maybe buy a plant. Definitely walk next door to the ” Repurpose shop” but remember to clean out your garage first and drop off your junk. Then buy some more new junk to replace your old junk.
