Great brunch and breakfast spot! They have plenty of options, and everything was fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The maple latte was delicious, and the Chicken Pimento Biscuit was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten for breakfast. Highly recommend!

Had brunch here today! The waffles were insanely good, 9/10. The texture the taste the tartness, the temp all amazing and very filling. I got the bison hash and it was super flavorful and good as well! The jalapeño cornbread definitely has a kick to it. I give that an 8/10. And I also got the snickerdoodle coffee also a 8/10 not too sweet and still tasted like coffee so it was a good balance. My friend got the country breakfast and said the bacon and potato casserole were cold and not cooked great but loved the eggs and jalapeño cornbread so 7/10 for that!

We were really surprised to see that they had availability on Friday because the food is consistently delicious and the service is great too! Their chicken and waffles is always our go to. I also highly recommend the butter cake if you never had it before.

Visiting Denver for a few days for the first time, and wanted something unique to the place – very happy I ended up here on a sunny winter morning! Ordered the Green tomato Benedict and a coffee. Tried a cornbread (jalapeño) for the first time – all great! I took home a bottle of their house red habanero hot sauce (delish) as well.

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying brunch at the bar this weekend with bartenders Kat and Terrance. They were in complete flow state with Sunday Brunch drinks flying, and it was a treat just to see them at it! On top of the awesome service the food was also so GREAT! It was my first time trying Sassafras and I’ll for sure be back for more 🙂

A great dive! The food and service were both top notch here.
I got the special of the day and my wife got the beans and rice.

Their fried green tomatoes were some of the best we’ve ever had. Was thinking about them again today and wanted them again.
I personally wasn’t a fan of the sassafras tea. It was supposed to be a sweet tea but there was no sweet to it. Great flavor but not sweet.

If you’re looking for a cute vibe and great date spot check this place out.

One of my fav brunches in Denver do far. Lovely place, lots of light. Food menu is pretty neat with a good selection of alcoholized and caffeinated beverages. The food is great, I like the chicken pimento biscuits, and the bison hash (picture).

The beignets are pretty good !

Biscuits and gravy were good but not amazing. Pretty heavy, not enough gravy, but I like my biscuits swimming in it. Got a side of 2 scrambled eggs for $6. Not ideal. Great atmosphere and cool building. Solid cocktail menu with good bloody Maries.

We had a great breakfast yesterday. Got the check, left a + 20% tip. I looked at the bill, which seemed high on the way out and saw three extra charges totally $8. When I inquired with the waitstaff I was told that since my daughter requested gluten free bread these were the charges. $2 for gluten free fried tomatoes, $4 dollars for gluten free bread plus $2 dollars for it being toasted. (Daughter says it was delicious) but it was small, about the size of 1/2 a piece of grocery store sliced bread. 8 dollar up charge for gluten free without a warning seems extreme, especially $6 for a small piece of bread. As someone in the hospitality business I was very surprised and disappointed by this. Although the food was great, we won’t be back. I hope the guy who hightailed it out of the bar into the kitchen when I asked the waitress about this wasn’t the manager…

Probably the loveliest place I have ever been to for brunch. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance of this gorgeous house, we were made to feel welcomed and the hostess even oriented us to the location of restrooms which was a nice touch. We were seated on the outdoor patio which had a peaceful and beautiful ambiance. The menu was extensive and everything looked so tasty, it was hard to decide, but I went with the crab cake benedict which was amazing. The service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely come back and try their other dishes.
