Was visiting our Idaho family from California and went up to Idaho City for some hiking. This ice cream shop is adorable and delicious. Loved their Salted Caramel! Super fun vibe, very friendly staff. The whole town is great. I highly recommend stopping here.

Cute little place to stop for ice cream on a warm day. I ordered the single chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, my husband the huckleberry in a waffle cone, and our daughter the strawberry shortcake in a bowl. All of it was yummy. I know cause I tried them all.

The best ice cream shop in Boise County with the best family ownership team in town. Their love for our community is as awesome as the gourmet ice cream they offer.

A delicious find while exploring Idaho City. A smaller selection (~16 flavors/ incl sorbet, yogurt and regular ice cream). Only complaint was that two flavors our group wanted weren’t able to be scooped because they were too cold/hard and flavor cards weren’t always posted.

The service was good and the ice cream was cold. I think they’re missing out on making money! Not that’s what it’s all about but I was prepared to drop some coin and there wasn’t anything to buy! No gifts. Some dime candy but wish there were more to choose from. Hope next time we come in there are some more options to choose from.

The service was excellent. However, the atmosphere is not as appealing. Having grown up in Boise, I used to escape the winter inversion by visiting Idaho City. Unfortunately, the historic building was destroyed by a fire, and the original town’s ambiance was never fully restored. Furthermore, the prices seem rather high, which is understandable given the changing times.

Soo soo average ice-cream, not made in house. It’s usually a fun vist and we like to support small town businesses. However, on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend they had ONE young girl working there by herself and the place was packed. She was overwhelmed doing the best she could. They were out of several flavors and the girl was NOT ALLOWED to open cartons of new ice-cream that was in the freezer for all to see. That is a ridiculous policy.
