Sarpino’s Pizzeria in West Loop is a wonderful vegan friendly pizzeria. The delivery services are excellent; multiple delivery orders were placed throughout the months and haven’t experienced any issues with tardiness, and the delivery crew is always nice and calls when they are close or have arrived. The vegan pizza and calzones are awesome, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The vegan garlic and cheesy bread are excellent choices. There are multiple vegan specialized pizzas to choose from as well as create your own (CYO). This pizzeria is highly recommended to vegetarian and vegan communities. Valentine’s theme pizza was a special gesture that brought about a beautiful memory.

Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE the vegan pizza here!!! I haven’t come across many restaurants with tasty vegan pizza so this place was my go to spot! I’m super duper bummed with my experience tonight. So much so I won’t be spending my money there anymore … on Tuesday night 12/16 at 6:37pm, an African American young lady who took my order was very unpleasant with me. Her energy in person and over the phone was unprofessional and impatient. I’ve had nothing but super friendly interactions with the servers there until tonight.
I order the same thing every time I go there and tonight she got my order wrong. When I noticed it was incorrect, I went back into the restaurant to inform her and she refused to own up to it or even apologize. Instead she insisted that I said something totally different, which was 100% not the case.
All of the young men there who have taken my order in the past know it very well. It doesn’t change. This young woman was just clearly off her game tonight and wasn’t able to leave her crap at the door. I wasn’t going to write a review, but after I saw her and another employee laughing after speaking to both of them about the mishap, I’d come to the conclusion that the issue would not be resolved and I would no longer be able to spend money with this business.
Like I said, when dealing with the other employees at the Lake St location, their service is very easy going and amicable. This young lady seems to be the only one doesn’t mind having “I don’t want to be here” written all over her face.

I was made to wait over two hours for my pizza. Every thirty minutes I called the store and was repeatedly told the same thing: “It’s on the way.” These statements turned out to be untrue.
Eventually, the manager, Joseph, spoke to me in an extremely dismissive and disrespectful manner, saying, “What do you want me to do?” He then claimed that the delivery driver had arrived at the building lobby and that I did not answer my phone.
To verify this, I personally went down to the front desk immediately. I can confirm without any doubt that no delivery driver came to the lobby, nor did anyone attempt to contact me. The information I was given was false.
This experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic customer service. Being misled for hours and then spoken to with such impudence by a manager is unacceptable.
I expect this issue to be taken seriously.

For some strange reason, this place no longer knows what “well done” means. I even called and informed them the last time I ordered well done it was the total opposite and made me physically sick.
