I was so hungry from after having a long dreadful day and Googled Sarpinos close to me since I was at the Waterwalk Hotel. I drove their as fast as I legally could and had 30 min before they closed. I felt bad ordering so late but my hunger took over my emotions and I had to get a large Sarpino’s Thin Crust Pepperoni Jalepeno Pizza. What I love about Sarpino’s is that everything is Fresh and made to order so your definitely getting what you paid for. The staff were cleaning since it was close to closing time but they still got my Pizza made fast and was super amazing . The staff were friendly and the guy who made my Pizza I could tell he was hurting from it look like his back but he was a Trooper and got right on my order. Sarpino’s came in clutch and I know when I go back to Leawood I will be going to this Sarpinos location again because I was very impressed with their service and quality of their Pizza. I loved the music they were playing as well. Sarpino’s, you are the King of Pizzas in the metro area in my opinion. Keep up the good work. I long for a Sarpino’s in my city and really longing for a slice of heaven right about now, only from Sarpino’s Pizzeria South Leawood.

Pretty good takeout! Pizza and fried ravioli are generally solid, only occasionally a little burnt. Don’t recommend the dessert options though. The “tiramisu” is the exact same cheesecake you get for $3 less with a little thing of cinnamon on the side. Not tiramisu at all and not worth the extra charge. Doesn’t even resemble the photos.

I had come off a 14 hour shift, and was too tired to prepare a meal at home. Looking at my choices:
1) Waldo Pizza: out of my way to go there.
2) Topper’s: closed !
3) Minsky’s: OK, but sparse vegan options.
So I ended up with 4) Sarpino’s. They have a full vegan menu, like Waldo’s. Also, easy online ordering, and it was ready for me when I arrived. It was no more expensive than Waldo’s for a decent pie, and a lot closer.

Ordered a pizza online and when I went to pick it up they stated they didn’t get the order. Then they said it was a third party issue and stated it was not their fault. They just forgot to check the order terminal because they found it easy enough to refund it.

I should have taken pictures. This used to be my favorite pizza place. The food is still really delicious but the presentation is horrendous. The sauce kind of slides over everything and you don’t really see a beautiful pizza anymore. A visual can taint the taste for some people. For me, I don’t have that problem. Others might though. Sarpino’s, do better!

The young lady at the register was standing there taking my order, eating a sandwich, biting, speaking and chewing. Very inappropriate as well as unacceptable customer wise as well as food safety wise. I ordered 2 10′ pizzas, I watched two people make them. I spent $40. They only gave one sauce per pizza and didn’t want to give additional. Not the greatest experience at this location. The entire experience started at the register.

Ordered 16″ Xxxtra pepperoni,Xtra cheese, Xtra sauce, THIN crust. I ended up with almost no pepperoni and burned cheese, excessive crust as you can see from what I tore off. A whopping 2″ of pure thick crust all on the outside. Those are no olives in that picture,it’s pure charred cheese coal…about 12 inches of it. I peeled off a few slices of charred cheese looking for pepperoni and tossed it in the trash. Where’s that Xxxtra pepperoni? I called and they redelivered a slightly better one. I don’t understand what they don’t understand what thin crust means. I’ve ordered there many times. Sometimes it’s good, other times not. The redelivery was better but still not what they usually make. Not thin crust for sure!! It looks like they took a regular crust and tried to make it a thin crust. I paid over $40 for garbage. Not again, my sarpinos days are over. The manager is clearly incompetent. I ordered on Friday Jan 21 evening. You lost a customer for life and whomever will look at this picture I took. I want my $40 back. Disgusted. Don’t order here!!!

I placed an order at 9:20 PM with a delivery estimate of 10:04. By 10:35, I still had no food and was told it was “on the way” — even though the app still said it was baking. I canceled the order and was told it would take 72 hours for a refund. No apology. No accountability.
I ended up driving to a different Sarpino’s myself. This location failed at every level, and their customer service is as cold as the food would’ve been.
