The food arrived quickly and tasted very fresh. I ordered the gravy on the side to be cautious and have full regrets it tasted phenomenal and wish I would have kept my plate as is. It tasted wonderful and plan to return.

EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious, and their recipes are not your average egg breakfast. The hash is home made. The grits are yummy. So many items to choose from. Portions are good. My friend and I always share a breakfast because of how much food they serve. Prices won’t break your wallet, either!

I have been to the El Camino location several times. I was first introduced to Sharon’s by my sister and have been loving them since then.
I go for the Shrimp and grits but I brought my son today who got the Rib Platter and it was so delicious.
You must try them out, the family atmosphere is a key ingredient in the recipe of southern hospitality and is essential to their success in providing food for the soul!

I like this place. Food is good. Usually a good crowd of people coming in. Can be a wait sometimes. Their gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp and grits and other stuff is good. It’s authentic and has good flavors. Breakfast menu is good also. If you like southern food you will like this place. The staff is nice and attentive. Pricing isn’t too bad either. You should try this place. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

For whatever reason our wait time for food was longer than expected. Had two orders, Country Fried steak and Steak and Eggs. The country fried steak came out and it was fine but the steak and eggs took an extra 15 minutes for no reason. Came out and was way overcooked when it was supposed to be medium rare. When we brought up that the steak was overcooked the waitress didn’t seem to want to have to correct it so we had to ask for it to be redone. What we should’ve done was ask for it to be taken off of the tab because it was taking too long. Within a few minutes a new steak was brought out and dropped off at the table cooked correctly (so it didn’t make sense about why it took so long the first time). No apology was offered. It caused me to notice that service was terrible. No refills on drinks. No napkins. No one came by until they dropped off the check. You had to be a certain type of people to get any real service. Terrible way to run a business. Wanted to like this place and support the small business but after the experience I’d rather just go to any other breakfast chain. My advice is save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Hey, I’m from the south, and I gotta say, the food at this place is pretty darn good. The catfish and shrimp were hot and tasty, but the shrimp were a bit overcooked for my liking. But man, the coleslaw was amazing! I’ve never had it with cucumbers before, but it was a great addition. And the collard greens were delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The customer service was top-notch too, with the staff checking in on me all the time to make sure everything was good.

This is the second time coming to this restaurant and my husband’s first. We were so impressed with the greeting at the door. Once seated we decided on having 2 orders of the 2 piece Cat Fish with Grits one plate with scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onions and the other eggs over medium with grits. Oh my goodness the fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection and was served heat hot.
We will return.

I’m tired, boss. Tired of chain restaurant garbage, tired of Sysco premade crap, tired of synthetic flavors and forever declining ingredient quality.
And then I ordered some food here and got some breakfast potatoes that were actually done correctly and it was a relief, in a way. It’s nice to know that there’s still little restaurants making good food like this even though it’s so hard for them to survive. Everything else we got here was great. The fries my wife got were crispy and looked to be lightly battered. Even simple stuff like the cheese was noticeably real cheddar, not some plasticized garbage. Then there was this breakfast burger thing that I’m pretty sure is a direct challenge to cardiologists as a profession. I say that with love, mind you. Someone needed to knock them down a peg.
At any rate, I’d like to try more of the food here. I definitely will.
