wanted to grab something good and cheap to eat in the area, my friend recommended to get a shrimp teriyaki from them. A very good amount of food for only 10$ don’t get me wrong, but while eating my food i came across a small piece of plastic in my rice.

The food is always great, love the shrimp tempura and the dumplings are very yummy as well. The atmosphere isn’t the greatest because of the location. A random woman’s child placed her entire hand in my food and the people behind the counter saw the whole thing and just looked away. I know it’s not a restaurant where they would cater to you more but I feel like they could have replaced my 13 dollar meal seeing what she had done. The owner never acknowledges anyone and is always sitting by the bathroom on his phone.

I have been going to this place for 10 years, since i was 5/6. I’m 16 now, and ever since my uncle first took me, I’ve loved it. From the extremely quick service times, to just how great the food is, and the affordability of it all, you’d be hard pressed to find something better.
Noodles are never dry, rice is always great, chicken and the sauce on top of it is incredible. There’s always a great balance between your choice of chicken/shrimp/beef, veggies, and noodles/rice. I have absolutely no complaints
On my most recent visit one of the employees even helped close, bag my food, and give me cutlery and napkins. Top tier service, amicable employees, everything.
I felt it was only just that I write a review after so long, but to conclude; this is an incredible restaurant. Truly the best.

When it first opened up the staff was all Japanese and they knew what they were doing! It clearly was a 9 out of 10 back then! But as time passed, the staff changed to Hispanic cooks and maybe one Japanese employee at the cash register. It isn’t as good as it was a few years ago! Chicken is often overcooked and old; I had two chicken egg rolls recently and I got food poisoning from them! The only good thing is the steamed veggies which I will get only if I go there anymore!

I ordered from uber eats here and I paid for extra chicken. Didn’t get that. I asked for it to be extra crispy. Didn’t get that. I asked for 3 scoops on the chicken. Guess what? Didn’t get that too. It’s like they didn’t even look at what I wrote. I did also order the vegetable spring roll. I rate it a solid 7.7/10. It was nice and crispy on the outside and warm on the inside, not soggy. I do definitely recommend that if you’re ordering off uber eats. But the chicken teriyaki. Don’t. I paid about 25 bucks and didn’t even get what I wanted. Had to fix it at home. I do recommend ordering in person and making sure they do things correctly. When in person usually everything is done correctly but DO NOT order off uber eats. They will not make it correctly or even read your note or anything.

This has been a faithful and flavorful staple of the area for quite some time. Recently, caught in a snowstorm with my friend, we needed a hot meal to power through to get back home. Slippery and foggy conditions all around pushed us to seek refuge. Inside, the Sarku Crew gazed back into the blizzard howling behind us. But they did not falter. They had us right, with prompt, crisp and professional service. They were locked in.
