Worst customer service. I ordered chicken teriyaki before leaving the mall. Got home to eat it and the chicken was not done, pink and goeey. So I decided to try to cook it some more before driving all the way back to the mall. Well, that didn’t help at all. So I drove back to the mall, explained what happened and I can not believe the attitude and push back I recieved on how I ordered it an hour ago and it looked fine. The looks they gave me. They way she slammed and pushed my food down the line and rushed me to get it (with a customer in front of me) The only reason I’m didn’t push back is because I knew that’s what they expected and wanted. I smiled, got my food and immediately ran to make this review!

Decided to stop here on vacation. Loved this place back home. We ordered double chicken, and to me, the serving size is definitely small. A little pricey for the price of so-called double meat.

Favorite place to eat at any mall that I would go to anywhere in the USA or Puerto Rico.
Not anymore, I was really disappointed not with the food, but with the to go plate that they are using now. (SEE PICTURES) it’s literally half of what it use to be.And you are paying a lot more to, $8.29 to be exactly. (Sarku Corporate you should be ashamed of yourselfs for ripping people off) giving us half of what we use to get. And food supply has not gotten that expensive, I’m hoping that the increase has been to compensate your employees at least with $15 plus dollars per hour. With these prices I rather go to a restaurant and yes I’ll pay for a tip but it’s an actual restaurant. I would not recommend this place anymore!

I like that they cook it fresh right in front you. The “fried rice” is just steamed rice with soy sauce. They charged an extra .60 for rice with soy sauce. Not ok.

We used to come and eat at this place, but today we decided to have lunch there again. The food has gotten worse. Now they charge a dollar more for plain rice, treating it like fried rice. If you’re reading this, owner, take action.

Great place for takeout, I just wish they had a dedicated establishment outside of the mall food court. Still worth the trip inside the mall, but I’d frequent far more often if they had their own location.

We had a great Lunch at Sarku Japan restaurant inside of the food court.
Sarku of Japan at West Town Mall has great food.
But, the cashier was really rude and snatched a plate out of my hands.
I will never eat food again from the place with rude service.

Free taste samples. Terayaki chicken is good. Not many choices. The cashier doesn’t speak English very well. Definite communication issue there. They forgot my spring roll and no Splenda sweetner for unsweet tea. Food was great but I won’t order from here again. Total price $11. As you can tell from the receipt be wary of hidden add ons to the price. Food 4 stars. Customer Service 2 stars… Value 2 stars. Total 2 out of 5 stars.

they do not know how to process refunds
I purchased a meal and Dumplings.
after i paid, i saw that the Dumplings did not look fresh (they looked very dry).
i did not take any Dumplings and asked for a refund
the casher asked to insert my credit card.
later on, i looked at my credit card statement and saw that instead of processing a refund, the casher charged me for the Dumplings again
I’m asking for the refund for the original order and for the amount that i was charged again instead of a refund 9.37 x 2 = total $18.74.
