I love this place. I drive about 30 minutes to get the amazing Japanese teriyaki chicken with noodles and steamed rice mixed vegetables and tons of teriyaki chicken. The portion size is unbelievably huge. Totally get your money’s worth.. super friendly staff. Gilbert the manager and Miguel always greet me with a smile and a thumbs up. Way to go guys. Best value for Japanese teriyaki.

They charge for extra meat and don’t really give extra meat . So I complained one day now ever since I have been back they give me less meat every time ! I feel like this is so unprofessional! It’s not like I was screaming or being rude just asked why the portion was small when I paid for extra . Makes me feel like they are acting like Chipotle.

This place is located inside the Avenues Mall in the food court area. There’s always a line there, but it goes by quickly. Be sure to get the teriyaki chicken combo meal. It’s worth it for value. Also, get the half fried rice and half noodles. It’s a little upcharge that we weren’t told about, but it’s a mountain of food. We went here because my mom that came from the west coast to visit said this place was one of her favorite places when she used to live here. She said there was something similar on the West Coast but wasn’t the same nor worth the effort to drive there. Flew 3000 miles just to eat Sarku Japan. Learned something new today for sure

As always, great food cooked in front of you. They are always gracious in the amount served and the food is great. The costs have not gone up as bad as other places and the amount of meat you are getting is worth the price. It may be hard to find a table on the weekends but wait and someone eventually moves. I always recommend for a good lunch.

Located in the Food Court at Avenues Mall this is one of 7 remaining food choices. First entering my order was quick and easy even though it was the first time I’ve eaten there. Ordered 2 Chicken Egg Rolls and a Chicken Rice Roll, both were very good. Suggest you give it a try next time you are in the Mall.
