They have THE best teriyaki chicken I’ve had. Been to other Japanese hibachi restaurants and they do not compare. Sarku’s chicken is so tender and more flavorful than any I’ve tasted. I always order the sauce at the end just before they close up your dinner box and get the vegetables which is sautéed cabbage. I just love it. I could eat it almost every day.

I was there on Thursday everything good the food is amazing the service great. I am a regular customer but since they have a new manager everything is bad cause he treats his employees very badly and he is rude to us the customers he is always on a rush.

They are serving nice and fresh food. Very kind employees and very organized. Especially food was delicious. I had chicken & shrimp & veggies & fried rice. I will visit again when I go to North Point Mall.

Visiting Sarku Japan is nothing short of an emotional experience, one that touches the soul with every bite. From the moment you walk past you’re greeted not just by the sizzling sounds. There’s something magical about the way they transform simple ingredients—tender shrimp, crisp vegetables, savory beef—into a symphony of flavors that dances on your tongue. The teriyaki meals, in particular, is nothing less than a revelation. The sauce is a perfect balance of flavors, coating each piece of meat in a glossy sheen that glistens under the light. The beef itself is incredibly juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection—every bite an explosion of flavor. The shrimp is another masterpiece. Plump, perfectly cooked shrimp with just the right amount of seasoning, paired with the fried rice that is delicate yet satisfying. The rice has a delightful smokiness, and every forkful feels like a comforting embrace. Sarku Japan is the medicine nay the cure to any sorrow or impairment. The workers although quite never fail to make me feel loved. Their mysterious presence aids the soul. Their smiles make me feel loved like a mother’s embrace. Sarku Japan you’ve done it again.

On a Thu evening (Oct 2022), the mall was so empty. They had 3 employees staffed (seemed to be over staffed) with one employee just handing out at the front of the store wiping the counters. There were very few customers at the whole food court . I hope they get most business on weekends otherwise I don’t see how a business can survive with 3 staff and barely any customers. Current price for the Chicken Teriyaki special is at $8.69 (the box size was much smaller than years ago). Good food, quick service. Will return!

This location has gone way downhill in service over the past few years. I was a loyal customer until today.
I had completed a frequent guest card recently and used it today to get the free Chicken Teriyaki meal. The cashier charged me $3.75 for a bottle of water, which is supposed to be part of the meal (see pic).
When I pointed at the picture and said it’s supposed to be included, she said she would have to get the manager. The manager then refused to include the drink and even refused give me a cup of water.
He also said it would cost extra for fried rice instead of white rice. Then he argued with me about charging extra for sauce on the chicken. I was like, how much are the chopsticks? Rude way to treat a loyal customer. I won’t be back. Too many other choices in Perimeter Mall.

Well it did not seem quite as good as in the past. The sauce was clear and not as flavorful as previous visits. The veges and chicken seemed well cooked and tasty. Perhaps they will get the sauce thing sorted out. So a pretty decent visit. I am stuffed like a pig and got change back. With a soft drink it was under 9 bucks so a pretty decent deal.

Horrible customer service. I called regarding my order and was hung up on twice by an extremely rude woman who refused to answer any of my questions. When I showed up in person, the manager proceeded to tell me that they don’t have a phone nor take phone calls. I proceeded to call the number that I called right in front of him and their answering service picked up. At that point, he became rude and told me to have a nice day. Horrible customer service

Ordered a chicken bento box. The chicken was good and the tempura shrimp was bland but edible. I don’t like fried wontons so that wasn’t tasty to me. Prefer steamed. No complaints for a mall entree though. Price about $14.00. I wouldn’t buy it again bcuz it was not an item I would buy and the only tasty part was the chicken. I would definitely order the teriyaki grill chicken and veggies.

This restaurant is terrible. First of all, the food was horrendous and burnt. Also, when we tried to ask for water to wash down the burnt charcoal taste, they charged us one dollar!? For one water cup?? Absolutely insane. Will not be returning.
