Let me tell ya, folks, your ol’ pal here, ready to spill the beans – or should I say, the soybeans – about a real gem I unearthed at the Haywood Mall: Sakura! Now, I’m not usually one to mall-ter my routine, but this place? It’s a total sushi-prise!
From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was so clean, it was practically spot-less! And the service? Let’s just say they were on a roll – a sushi roll, that is! They were so friendly, I almost asked if they had a Ph.D. in politeness.
Now, let’s get down to the meat (or should I say, fish) of it. Sakura really nailed it with their top-notch services. First off, their sushi and sashimi selection is truly a work of art. I’m talking fresh-as-can-be, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Each piece was a tiny, delicious master-piece. My taste buds were doing the happy dance!
Then there’s their hibachi. Oh boy, the hibachi! The chefs put on a show that was absolutely grill-iant. Flames were flaring, spatulas were flying, and the food was cooked to perfection. It was a real wok-star performance! My kids were egg-cited, and so was I!
And finally, you gotta give a round of applause for their lunch specials. Talk about a deal-icious way to get your fix! It’s an un-beet-able value for such high-quality food. You’d be rice-tarded not to check ’em out!

I had a taste for some Rice and veggies so I decided to stop here. It was pretty busy due to Black Friday but the wait wasn’t too bad. I ordered the beef and Shrimp, Fried Rice, and Dumplings. Just FYI, the white sauce is an additional 60 cents. The food was okay. The beef was just a bit different, kind of greasy and I wasn’t a fan of the way it was cooked. The shrimp and rice was good as well as the vegetables. The dumplings were not hot, but warm.

I love Asian food. It’s generally hard for me to find a bad Asian food place.
I found one here.
I ended up getting a steak rice plate with a drink and a chicken egg roll.
The meat had 0 flavor. I took a couple bites and ended up throwing the rest of the plate away. I went to another food location.
The only thing that tasted good was the egg roll.
For over $19, I was pretty upset.
Note: no drink refills either. Will not eat here again.

Preferred food court fare of fresh grilled teriyaki, rice, and vegetables…I just followed the aroma of sizzling meat and got my plate of juicy hot stir-fry soaked into rice. It is very inexpensive when comparing quantity and quality of the combo dinners to other places.
