The food was horrible. I ordered a vegetable noodles with spring roll. The spring rolls were cold, it tasted like it was in a fridge. Then my food had a sticker in it….so gross! I threw the whole thing away.

Food quality and service has gone down hill. This does not taste like other Sakura Japanese places. Not sure if they order food elsewhere or if it is just cooking process but it does not taste like it use too. Shrimp and Chicken both were meh! Service was not great either. Food lost flavor.

I come here all the time and love the place. There was some hang ups before when it changed ownership. It’s still rocking good food though. I have a stomach of steel, so I would suggest.You probably cook your shrimp a little bit longer. It doesn’t bother me, but i’ve heard complaints. Not gonna stop me from coming to get some!!

Been coming here for 20 years since I was a small boy, this place is a vibe. The pinnacle of mall food. Elite. Consistent product, always gas. Don’t go crazy and get the bento whatever, stick to the teriyaki chicken, white or fried rice, always get the veggies & extra meat. Say yes to the extra sauce. Don’t ask questions.

They definitely have downgraded with the portion a bit. They don’t give you half as much as they used to. I had to go back and pay for extra meat. I.wish I had taken a pic before it was added. The taste is pretty much the same as I remember it being. Overall its pretty good.

The service was really bad. The order took way too long. The meat portion was very small that you could count it easily. I do not think that it was worth the price.

I received great customer service, food was cooked to perfection and great portion size, and I didn’t have to wait a long time for my food. I can also get extra teriyaki with no extra cost because the chef asked if I wanted extra sauce. I believe they e reviewed the bad eating and done some work on the efforts of great food service.

Wish I had looked at the reviews before purchasing food, extremely over priced, the lady behind the counter was horrible. We ordered a Bento box and they tried to serve it without the dumplings and shrimp. Got angry when we asked for it. The food is decent, wasn’t expecting much because it was in the mall. Just becareful

I received a promotional message about the BOGO offer on August 12th, which stated:

“BOGO is back at Sarku Japan all day on August 12th! An offer so popular it broke our tech, and for that, we sincerely apologize. We hope you’ll give us another chance to make this right with this sizzling offer. All you have to do is open the Sarku app, head to ‘Specials’ and score your BOGO!”

Unfortunately, when I opened the app, it still wasn’t working; I tried all evening after work. So, I made a special trip to Sarku Japan that evening (August 12), explained the situation, and asked for help. The staff were unable to assist, and I was told the discount could not be applied.

I went out of my way to get dinner for my family, expecting the issue to be resolved as the message implied. It was disappointing to be turned away without the offer being honored, especially after the technical issues were already acknowledged.
