They have been around for years and the food is good. There used to be a other store like it at The Milford Mall but was definitely not the same as this one. The main thing is the sauce which sets it apart from others. Too bad they are always so cheap with it.

– Ordered today in person and the sauce tastes different. The taste of your sauce is why I personally chose you over that old store that was in Milford that used to sell the same thing. Your sauce was simply…. sweeter. Today not that and tasted like what the Milford store used to put out. Remember the sauce is what separates you from any other store there or any similar. If you change that then there is less need to buy from you. Better off going the the two other food stores not far from you that are closer to the door that have similar style food.

It is best you go there and have them put extra sauce on it in front of you. Ordering online delivery though is another thing. If you ask for extra sauce, which you can only do through the driver they give you a small container which isn’t much at all.
I ordered 2 meals through doordash while asking for extra sauce and they send one small container of sauce. I guess you can’t teach common sense to some people huh?
I suppose then you have to be 100% specific in your request then, when you order that way. Eitherway the small cup isn’t much anyway.
They should use at least slightly larger sealed containers for the sauce. It’s not ketchup you giving out here. The amount doesn’t do much when you are already pretty stingy with how you add the sauce anyways.
But if you go there and order… it’s cool. Just keep in mind to keep the container level in the car when you do…. .
Minus a star for sauce stinginess. Especially when Ordering for delivery.

I’ve been going here since a-little kid and I always loved this Chinese food over the other places in the mall, they cook the food in front of you like hibachi and I do think their price is right when it comes to the combinations. I do recommend. I asked for extra sauce that is why there is sauce on top of the vegetables.

This place is horrible! If I could give it no stars I would! Use to be a good place but now when you pay extra for extra chicken, it’s no longer extra, just regular serving size! And don’t bother trying to return your food because they won’t give you your money back! Stay away!! Go to the one on the other side of Taco Bell! Much better

This is located in the food terrace of the Trumbull Mall. I wasn’t expecting much because it is in the mall, fortunately it exceeded my expectations. They had a buy one get half off chicken teriyaki deal. The chicken had lots of flavor. The worker asked if I wanted extra sauce on top which probably added to the flavor. I was able to mix in the extra with my rice.

Terrible experience from start to finish. They completely messed up our order, and when we tried to explain the issue, nobody would listen. The workers were rude and acted like it was our fault. One of the guys even had an AirPod in the whole time while “helping” us, which shows how little they cared.
To make it worse, when we asked them to fix the order, they fought with us and kept demanding a receipt — which we were never even given in the first place. Instead of helping, they made the entire situation stressful and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Really bad menu item, no flavor and I thought it would have more vegetables than lettuce and a few pieces of sliced carrots. The rice is just plain white rice. Good thing I asked them to add teriyaki sauce otherwise this would have been a – 1 star review. Vegetarians don’t waste your time here.

Im at the Trumbull mall and I always order from Sarku japan restaurant , I ordered a number 4 with extra beef and no extra shrimp with fried rice and no vegetables ,then ordered a number 5 and that’s chicken and shrimp extra on both and with vegetables , the guys that work their very rude and dont speak any English and the one that was cooking the food was really rude and snotty, when looking at the food notice that he put plain rice on the number 4 and I said to the guy its supposed to be fried rice and the person at the register didnt give me the receipt, so im telling him I know what I ordered and they didnt want to fix the issue , so I told him if you not going to fix it then I want my money back , I think the supervisor needs to fire these guys and they didnt even give me the extra meat on the number for and they said they did but they didnt
