Chose this restaurant than the others because of the world famous chicken teriyaki. For just less than $10 compared to $11 or $12 for a plate of food on the other establishments, this place will fill your hunger and offer enough chicken without adding extra. Just choose the Chicken Teriyaki, choose between white or fried rice, and your good to go.

Thai food at this place is okay for me, not the best but not bad either. Usually they’re the best place around for great Thai food but I’m noticing a pretty consistent theme where you shouldn’t order on Weekends.I’m guessing it’s likely a different, the food cold with much less flavor and spice, less meat and other key ingredients. Any other day has been fantastic, just don’t order on Weekends and we asked for vegetables but they didn’t have any.

The food quality has gone way downhill. The sushi rolls have gone tinier in diameter, the amount and taste of the chicken is horrible, the fried dumplings were cold. Even the veggies were just cut up lettuce, not even sauted. You are basically buying white rice for $11.

In the context of a busy food court in an upscale mall, Sarku Japan is a good option to enjoy fresh and tasty food, served at good size portions, at fair prices. I just wish they served the food in biodegradable containers (Styrofoam is very bad for the environment).

Was here @ 11:25 and told they weren’t open yet and to come back in 20 minutes even though hours say 11am and the cook had Chicken on the grill.

sarku is hands down best mall food, but I’m sad they don’t have siracha anymore and the quality is lower than what i remember from few years ago :/

Really good basic Japanese fare for a mall food court setting – the teriyaki chicken is just as good as it’s hyped up to be. Plus, the staff was not only friendly but extremely efficient – I got food for 3 people within 2 minutes. I think this is probably the best food at this food court.

Very disappointed visit. Normally their quality is good but this last visit I barely got enough chicken and hardly any steamed veggies.

Don’t go on Monday at noon. Old guy shorted my order significantly by the amount of chicken (paid for extra did not get it) I paid for. He cooked a pile of chicken and gave a lot to the first guy ordering. I was at the end so I got what was left. Felt like it was ageism. Not going back despite being a regular. If I pay for extra for chicken, I should get it, regardless of whether we are same age or not. He could have easily had similar portions, but he chose to be generous to some and short with others, literally. Maybe they’re tired of my business the food court is full of options. Should make sure everyone gets the same instead of being discriminatory. Deeply offended. Also pretty sure I found hair…
