First off the guys cooking need to actually focus on the proper portion of protein to put in orders. They are very nonchalant about cooking the food and plating it correctly. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and paid for extra chicken. They gave me the normal amount of chicken and a bunch of white rice. The veggies were barely cooked. They were raw and flavorless. The cooks they have don’t care to prepare the food the right way. I looked at my food and felt ripped off. Barely any chicken but a ton of white rice. Paying for extra chicken and not getting extra chicken. They only get 2 stars for flavor. I wont come back ever. Not worth $14. I definitely regretted passing on Thai kitchen or China Wok for this place. I threw away most of the white rice. It was way too much for so little chicken. WARNING THEY RIP YOU OFF WHEN YOU PAY FOR EXTRA MEAT. ITS A SCAM!! JUST ORDER NORMAL. MAYBE ORDER YOUR EXTRA CHICKEN ON THE SIDE.They probably wont let you because thats how they hide their scam. I rate this place a 5 out of 10 overall.

Giving Sarku Japan a solid 5/5. I’ve been going to the Solomon pond mall since I was a kid. All through middle and high school and every time I’ve gone to the mall as an adult. I’m 37 now and I’ve never been disappointed. They’ve always been simple and delicious. Also, consistent. Just got a gift from them and felt it was only right if I give them the credit they deserve.

I have been eating here for years and NEVER had a bad experience OR a bad plate of food. While i recognize no resturant is 100% and may have an off day because they’re human, as far as me and my family’s experience, they get an A+ from me because I’ve ALWAYS had a positive experience. I drove from Worcester yesterday and as always, the food was great. I got their beef and shrimp with white rice and veggies with a chicken eggroll. Drink was their pomegranate drink. Tasted great. I love the fact that the veggies are over cooked and the food is not salty. I could eat here daily. I will definitely be back and bringing family and friends as always. Thank you!

Nice people, gotten cheap on the protein, seriously. Been eating at this chain since they opened years ago. Occasionally visit whenever I’m in the mall. This location, WOW. I got your typical chicken with rice and where’s the chicken? I remembered this being overflowing and after I ate, I was seriously full. Now? 1/4 of the chicken and 3/4 rice and a tiny bit of vegetables. Unfortunately, this is the trend with every restaurant and this place is no different. Very disappointed.
