Just had a wonderful breakfast at Sarita’s. The food was very good and very well presented. Service was excellent. The server told me that starting on October 20 they will be selling breakfast specials @ $4.99 ea. I highly recommend Sarita’s.

Come and check this place out. Continues to stay with authentic Mexican food. For me it’s always the chilaquiles with Huevos divorciados. Love supporting our local businesses. This one is a must if you love breakfast and lunch. Check it for yourself.

Sarita’s is one of our go-to spots in McAllen. The food is always delicious and consistent. We usually go for breakfast and order tacos, but I’ve tried most of the breakfast plates and they rarely disappoint.

I rated the atmosphere 4 stars only because the inside dining area is a bit small, so bringing a large group can be tricky. That said, it’s cozy, inviting, and the staff is always warm and welcoming.

Prices are very reasonable for the portions you get, and you can even call ahead and order in advance. Highly recommend stopping by Sarita’s—go get some!

The huevos rancheros are okay here, for $8.99 you get 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans and salad.

The eggs were perfectly cooked over a medium, the salsa for the eggs was flavorful and spicy, the bacon was tasty, the potatoes were simple but warm and had already salt, the beans were okay.

The place looks a bit dark and the booth seats are very uncomfortable.

Overall the breakfast was okay, but nothing that stands out to make me return here.

Ordered the Special of the house for 2. Didn’t serve us the beans, pico de gallo and the dessert. The atmosphere and service are ok. However, I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

I’ve been here twice for breakfast..love Mexican food that’s not overpriced. The servers were very polite and they have lemonade( not the artificial stuff).

We went to have lunch there today and waited for more than 30 minutes and we never got our order. The place was not full, the waitress never came to let us know why it was taking so long. Other customers arriving after us got there order in a timely manner. We paid for our drinks and left. I’m very disappointed in the bad service. We won’t be going there again.

Terrible botanas under the new Sarita’s name. Before, their botanas were huge, cheesey and yummy, their flautas had chicken and quesadillas had lots of cheese. Now, I guess they only put cheese in their flautas and about a quarter size cheese in their quesadillas. No more melted yellow cheese in their botana!!

Their new botanas had a sprinkle of white cheese, tons of oily chips mixed with a smidge of dried out beans. NO jalapenos, No salsa, no more melted dipping cheese. Just terrible and disappointed with the quality.

I asked for a refund and got my money back. Won’t be coming back!
