The lunch special is an absolute standout. It’s a great value and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’ve tried several dishes from the lunch menu and each one has been satisfying and well seasoned. It’s the kind of lunch that keeps you full and happy for the rest of the day.
The Thai tea here is also excellent. It’s rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, which makes it the perfect pairing with any meal. I honestly order it every single time because it’s just that good.
The staff really adds to the experience. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and attentive, and you always feel genuinely taken care of from the moment you walk in. It has that comfortable neighborhood feel that makes you want to keep coming back.
If you’re in Greenvale and looking for solid Thai food with a great lunch special and amazing Thai tea, Sarin Thai is absolutely worth visiting.
Special because the food, served by friendly waitstaff, is excellent. I have never had a meal here that disappointed.
This was once our regular Friday place for lunch with friends. COVID interrupted that schedule. We are so glad Sarin weathered the storm. Now we come whenever we want the best Thai food around.
We’ve been coming here for two decades and always had the best meal.
Staff are so friendly and professional.
Pad Thai noodles, green curry, red curry.. all amazing. Lunch special is a crazy value- that comes with chicken soup or salad. Their chicken soup is the best chicken soup!
We tried dessert this time and it was so authentic.
We hope to come here to have authentic Thai food for many more years.
**Update**
I have since been back a number of times and have not had a single issue since post pandemic. I’ve been here I want to say maybe five times in the past year and every experience has been great. The food of course always the freshest and so delicious. The service has really been out of the park too…..I never have to call a waiter or waitress over. They are always so prompt. I brought my daughter here for the first time and she absolutely loved it. Everything has improved greatly since my original review. I am going to add more stars and post additional pictures of my last visit. This is the best Thai food I’ve had on Long Island.
We had chicken and beef satay, both were juicy and light enough to go perfect with the peanut sauce (and a small side pickled cucumber)
The lunch menu came with soup or salad and we opted for the chicken rice soup. It was quite a big portion considering it came with the lunch menu. It had enough chicken and rice, the broth was light and flavorful.
I had the Pad Tofu and love the brown sauce that is not thick. It went well with the rice. We also ordered the Chicken Mussamun curry. It has a light kick to it and the ingredients were fresh.
We will be back to try other items on the lunch menu.
I thought this place was amazing to walk in. I loved the decor and was greeted by very nice people in the staff. They were very kind. I liked the chicken soup and loved the Thai ice tea. I was enjoying the Pad Kee Mao noodles until I noticed there was a BEE insect in them. Everything about this place was perfect until that moment. I’m slightly traumatized but I understand accidents do happen m.
