Poor Service & Lack of Professionalism

This restaurant feels like one of many fly-by-night operations that pop up in a rush and disappear just as quickly. Avoid if you value quality and reliability.

We ordered takeout—chicken and mutton curry—but one of the mutton curry boxes contained a single piece of meat and a tiny bone, which was clearly underfilled. When we called to complain at 11 PM, the staff claimed they had packed it “normally” and refused to acknowledge the issue. After expressing our frustration, they reluctantly agreed to replace the order—but since we’d have to drive 40 minutes round-trip, it wasn’t worth it.

We requested credit for our next order as compensation, but they refused. Since we didn’t take their offer, we’re leaving this review so others know what to expect.

A little professionalism goes a long way, especially in the food industry. Management, please take note—this experience cost you more than just one customer.

This is my first visit. It felt like cook was on his last day of the notice period, pathetic taste. I’ve never written such a bad review in my life. What was not acceptable is, if everything was was, we can at least manage with Dal, Bad Pappu/Dal, how can a cook/chef not make basic dal properly. Heavily disappointed. My friend who had biryani, had his own share with disappointment, but he tried to manage it off as he was the one who recommended me this place. I hope the management takes a note of this review, and make things better.

We went to Sarigama Restaurant this morning for breakfast. We ordered Ghee Karam Idli, bonda, and Egg Dosa. Everything was okay at first, but when we asked for egg dosa, the staff said the chef wasn’t there and was not feeling well. Later, they said the chef was available and prepared it. Unfortunately, the dosa was very dry and hard to eat, and we didn’t like it at all. Overall, a disappointing experience this time.

I was disappointed with the overall hygiene at this restaurant. The water jugs were greasy and clearly never washed, which was the first red flag. The tables were also not clean, and used utensils were left lying around, giving the place a very untidy feel.
On the positive side, the food itself was okay, but the poor cleanliness really overshadowed the experience. With better attention to hygiene and basic upkeep, this place could be much more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for some of the best Indian food in DFW this place is an absolute gem! The flavors are bold, rich, and truly authentic. Every dish is packed with spice and depth, so if you’re not into spicy food, make sure to let the server know your preferred spice level.

The absolute must-try? Their jalebi – hot, fresh, crispy, and sticky with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the perfect way to end your meal! Whether you’re craving classic curries, biryanis, or street food favorites, this spot delivers a truly authentic Indian dining experience. Our server’s name was Anu and she was the sweetest!! Even the chef came out to check if we enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!

This place is quiet with plenty of space and no waiting time, which was nice. It’s a decent Indian dine-in option in the area. The food was served quickly, and most of the dishes we tried were good.

The chicken burger was surprisingly good and worth trying. The samosa chaat had a nice mix of flavors. Chicken tandoori was cooked well and tasted good. The goat biryani was a bit spicy, but we liked it.

Overall, a good place for a casual meal with family. Nothing fancy, but the food and service were decent. Value for money and time !

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in the USA. The food quality was extremely disappointing. We ordered chicken dum biryani and chicken curry for takeout, and the biryani was honestly the worst biryani I have ever eaten. The quality of food was very low.
The overall customer service was also very poor. The staff at the front were mostly standing together and chatting instead of paying attention to customers. It did not seem like the management was taking proper action or supervising the service.
We were seated near the entrance, and every time we needed something, we had to stand up and call someone or raise our hand to get their attention. Even then, the staff appeared unwilling and brought items with unhappy expressions. This kind of behavior is not acceptable in a professional restaurant environment.
I have noticed many similar reviews from other customers, but it seems that no improvements have been made. The restaurant seriously needs better-trained staff who can treat customers respectfully and provide proper service than the present staff (mainly the girls).
Additionally, I observed in the open kitchen that chefs were not wearing gloves while preparing food, which raised concerns about hygiene and cleanliness.
Overall, the restaurant needs significant improvements in food taste, customer service, staff professionalism, and hygiene standards. Once go and check with the surrounding restaurants, how the service and food was.

We had great experience at this restaurant. The food was too good, full of authentic flavors. The plating was also impressive — beautifully presented and made the meal even more enjoyable. Can recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy Indian cuisine.
