Went here for an early Valentines Dinner with my husband and it was AMAZING! The food was delicious I would come back every week if I could. My husband had the Lasagna and loved it. I had the Seafood Catelloni and it is now my favorite. Wish we lived closer!

Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner. We both really enjoyed it. The restaurant is gorgeous, very well decorated with intimate and romantic atmosphere while still being family friendly. My Italian chopped salad was a delight. Caesar salad came with a zesty olive and pepper. Bread sticks were freshly made and refilled before our entrees came. Our pasta was good. Loved the cake. Overall I thought the price was fair for the experience we had. Service was decent. The busboys were attentive polite and cheerful.

Relaxing way to spend a wonderful evening with your date/significant other. Food here is fantastic, flavorful in every regard. My wife and I shared two different dishes and we really weren’t sure which was better, both perfectly delicious! Atmosphere is enjoyable, although in my opinion, the music could be turned down just a little. Salad’s are just right, breads sticks perfect and they have some of the best coffee around. Also you get a TEAM of waiters/waitresses that tend to your needs, so everything was perfectly prompt!

Plastic in Food, Denial from Management
Let me be clear: this review is not about a simple mistake. It’s about a management failure so profound that it calls into question the entire restaurant’s commitment to its customers’ safety.
My wife and I were enjoying the pleasant ambiance of Sarento’s when my Chicken Marsala meal was cut short. I began chewing on a foreign object that was tough, rubbery, and inedible. It was a piece of plastic film.
What happened next was appalling. After we alerted the staff, the manager approached our table not with concern, but with immediate denial. He condescendingly dismissed the plastic as “just an onion peel.” I stated plainly that I had the object in my mouth, could not chew it, and that its texture was clearly artificial. He disregarded my firsthand account entirely, choosing to lecture us instead of listening.
A competent manager in this situation has a clear protocol:
Apologize sincerely for a dangerous kitchen error.
Immediately remove the contaminated dish.
Express concern for the guest’s well-being.
Investigate the failure with the kitchen staff.
This manager did none of the above. His sole objective was to deny responsibility. Since my direct testimony was ignored, let me provide the irrefutable proof for everyone else to see. The attached photo shows an object with:
Artificial Transparency & Gloss: It’s a perfectly clear, manufactured film, unlike the fibrous, translucent nature of a biological material like an onion.
Sharp, Polymer Folds: It holds stiff, unnatural creases that a soft vegetable membrane never could. It is, without a doubt, food-service plastic wrap, likely from the chicken preparation.
To add final insult to this negligence, after I ceased eating my meal for obvious safety reasons, the restaurant made no offer to replace it and charged us in full. We did not argue, choosing to leave rather than endure further disrespect in a crowded room.
The most dangerous part of this experience wasn’t the plastic in my food; it was the management culture that chose to deny and conceal a problem rather than solve it. This isn’t just unprofessional; it’s a betrayal of the fundamental trust a diner places in a restaurant. This establishment’s leadership failed to handle a critical safety incident, and future patrons deserve to know it.
Dine here at your own risk.

We sat in the booth with the poop emoji!! Service was attentive and helpful. Good menu selections. Our meals were good. The breadstick are good. Salad is okay. The dessert (torte) was bland.

Last Friday February 28th my husband and I had a 6:00 reservation. We arrived on time and were taking into the dining room. There were at the most 4 tables occupied. The hostess took us to a table for 4, there was a booth right next to it and we asked if we could have the booth instead. She said it was reserved, although there was no reserved sign on it. We stood there and waited, at least 3 or 4 other booths around the perimeter were empty. She said let me check. After 3 or 4 minutes she returned and seated us at a 1/2 booth next to another couple. We had no privacy as the couple was so close, we could hear all of their conversation and vice versa. As we ordered, a couple with a toddler was taken to the table that the hostess had first shown us, they also asked if they could have the booth next to the table. She told them also no, that it was reserved, still no sign on it. She did not offer them an empty booth either. We had come from Milwaukee area for a short get away, my husband knew I like Sorentos and was trying to lift my deep depression. As we talked I became so anxious I could not eat my dinner. I actually broke down in tears and we had to leave. Needless to say we won’t be returning. I guess customer service is a thing of the past. On a Friday night to have the restaurant virtually empty, we are wondering if this treatment has turned others off also. It’s too bad, because the food is good.

We had a huge group of 14, including a few kids, and they were equal to accommodate us. Once we were seated, we had great service and the food was awesome! Lots of variety for our varying tastes! The fish fry was awesome! I had the broiled cod, snap peas, and baked potato!

My favorite restaurant in the Dells! The food is always incredibly flavorful, service is fast, and wait staff is very attentive. The risotto is so delicious! The eggplant parmesian is perfect, no stringy edges! The tables are pretty close together, so if you’re looking for privacy or a very quiet place, this might not be your first few choices. The food is incredibleeeee!

My wife and I have frequented this restaurant for years. We have never had a bad experience regarding service or the food and drinks. Our favorites are the Blackened Salmon and Seafood Canneloni. Excellent every time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You cannot go wrong with Sorrentos.

From a different state but was in the area. Hands down the absolute best Italian we have ever had. Can definitely tell every food item is homemade. Will definitely be back when in the Dells again. Drinks were spot on as well!! Highly recommend.
