Excellent South Indian food! I was a little disappointed to see that the South Indian menu has been reduced recently, but the quality of the food remains top notch. The chef truly maintains authentic flavors.

We really enjoyed the paneer bhurji, vada, gobi 65 and dosa — all were excellent. The sambar is a must-try! Don’t hesitate to ask for extra sambar; it’s absolutely delicious.

Thank you, Saravanan, for the wonderful experience!

Extremely disappointing food. I ordered idli sambhar, noodle burger, kulcha chana, bread pakoda and churi. None of the items were tasty. I was very fond of the restaurant Mudpot which served fresh hot idlis, but this time, the idlis were competely out of shape and stale. The sambhar was also not the taste I used to come back for. Every fried item tasted bitter. The restaurant is cheap in price, but then I had to compromise on taste. Also, it was very cold in the dinning area and I had to keep my street jacket on while eating my food which made the experience even worse.

I had a great experience here!
The Pav Bhaji was so delicious and surprisingly light to eat – full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Noodle Burger was absolutely superb and something different to try.
Everything tasted fresh and the food quality was excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you want tasty and satisfying food!

Night shift staff were very respectful

One of the best spots in Edmonton for authentic South Indian food! The dosas and idlis are a must-try, absolutely delicious. Huge thanks to Chef Saravanan, Chef Mohit, Vijayalakshmi, and owner Rajesh for the warm hospitality. Everyone was super friendly, we will definitely be back soon!

We ordered masala dosa, and what we received was an absolute disaster that should never happen at any restaurant.

The food was packed so poorly that hot sauces completely leaked out, soaking the entire bag. When we opened it, everything was a mess of spilled, scalding-hot food. Because of this negligence, my wife’s clothes were completely ruined and, even worse, she suffered burn marks from the hot food. This is not just inconvenience — this is dangerous.

To make matters worse, the spill happened in our car. The smell has completely soaked in, and the car now needs professional detailing. All of this because the restaurant couldn’t do something as basic as secure food containers properly.

When we called the restaurant around 11:30 PM, the woman who answered the phone was dismissive, unapologetic, and showed zero concern. There was no apology, no offer of a refund or replacement, and no attempt to take responsibility for their mistake. The attitude was as bad as the packaging.

This level of carelessness, combined with such an unprofessional response, is unacceptable. Customers trust restaurants to handle hot food safely, and this place failed on every level — packaging, service, and accountability.

I will never order from here again, and I strongly warn others: if you value your safety, your car, and your clothes, stay far away from this place.

Best South Indian food we’ve had in Edmonton. Authentic and delicious, just like the what we had in Asia last year. Very generous portions, friendly waitstaff with great recommendations and management checking to make sure everything is to our liking.

We went to this hidden gem. Me and my husband are big Dosa fans and loved every bits of the dosa they served us here today. The Sambar was out of the world! I highly recommend all the Dosa fans in Edmonton to try their dosa here. Too good! And Vijaya Laxmi the server was awesome. Will be back for sure

Just ordered from Sardar Ji Fast Food and it was absolutely amazing! The Chole Bhature were super fresh, perfectly spiced, and very yummy. The Amritsari-style Kulcha tasted just like Punjab — crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside.

The Lassi was thick and refreshing, and the Indian-style coffee was the perfect ending.

Honestly, it truly made me feel like I was back in Punjab. Highly recommended!
