I came for the chocolate pb lasagna, was not disappointed. Place was slammed with people getting takeout. I sat outside for a min and met the resident black cat. Super chill guy, wanted all the pets. Got a slice of cheese to go with the dessert. Crust A+, sauce A+, but sorry Mario’s got you beat on the cheese. The cheese tastes fine, but texture is more like curds once its in your mouth, then it’s a whole lotta chewing to get it down. $113 is the most I’ve ever spent on a slice of pizza, dessert, and a drink, though. Just kidding, they had some nice art up for sale, and I couldn’t resist one of the paintings. Always nice when the middle class can find affordable art too.

We ordered Pepperoni Wheels, Philly Cheese Steak Fries, and the Bigterranean Pizza to share for date night – a medium was the size of a large at most spots, the crust was delicious and the toppings and sauce were SO good. Our apps were great, they and my Moscato were a nice touch considering we had a little bit of a wait. The wait was okay though, I honestly prefer it to not all come out so fast and close together and we had a good time enjoying the ambiance and conversation. They were pretty busy because it was Friday night, we could tell they were getting tons of deliveries but they never neglected us. Great food, great vibe, and great service! Our waitress was very nice and attentive (she continued to offer refills and even boxed up our pizza for us so we didn’t have to), our food was fresh and tasty. There’s beautiful local art all over the walls, the vibe is great and the decor is cute. I went to the bathroom before we left and I’ve never seen such an adorable loo We’re from Pamlico and didn’t realize this place existed – it’s off the beaten path and I happened to see it on Google maps when I was looking for something nearby – I’m so glad we stopped by, I may have found a new favorite. They seem to have a little bit of everything as far as Italian goes, the pastas and other entrees also looked good! The menu is extensive and there are a lot of other things I’d like to try, we had difficulty choosing. We will be back to try other dishes!

Was told I could not have my own water. WATER. Not an unopened water bottle, just a reusable one I’d been using all day. Some of the food is from frozen but still highly priced. The food is also not great. I don’t know what exactly to say there because it is ultimately preference but I have come a number of times over the years with different parties and almost always been disappointed. If you’re close and want variety maybe this is a good option for you but you can find some much better pizza in the mall and at other pizza places in New Bern. Charged $4 for a (bad) fountain soda after being told no water. Crazy. I keep saying I’ll never come back and then keep forgetting why and bringing new visitors. This was the nail in the coffin, never coming back here.

After doing research of places to eat in or around New Bern, I decided on going to Sara’s for pizza. We ordered traditional bone in garlic parmersean wings for an appetizer. They were very good, fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was so awesome! It was her first day by herself and you would have thought she worked there for years! She had a ton of personality and was very helpful with ordering and local recommendations. The menu had a ton of options, and the pizza was amazing! It was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! As far as pizza goes, it is some of the best pizza I have ever had. They had live music outside and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The inside dining area is kind of small, so if you go with a large group there may be a wait. I highly recommend, we will be going back!

Tucked away in the suburb of Fairfield, they offer more than pizza and subs. We had the shrimp scampi, lasagna and side of meatballs. Pretty on par with the other decent Italian places in new bern.

This place is a hidden gem in the New Bern area. Versatile menu offering not only pizza and Italian inspired food but burgers and various sandwiches. Overall, great food here at reasonable prices.

Food was amazing!! Service was good. The dining area is small, and as such, had to deal with overly loud patrons, but not the restaurant’s fault.

A wonderful local restaurant with delicious food and great service. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Reminiscent a little of a bistro in Little Italy NYC.

1st time visit on a Fri nite. They were slammed, hence the 4 star due to slow service. Cozy place on the inside. Cute outdoor seating for cooler days. Live music that day was the fabulous Alisa Mike. Great place for meet up, couples nite out or a date nite. There will be a wait if busy. I noticed a lot of take out traffic. I ordered a side of Garlic knots to start. They were delicious but took a long time. We ordered 2 entrees, the Shrimp Scampi and Eggplant Parm which come with only bread. Both meals were top notch! Better than Carabas. Again a long wait but worth it. Most everyone around us had pizza so it must be good. We had cheesecake and coffee for dessert while we were seranaded by Alisha. She was the cherry on top of a delish meal. The art and wreaths that adorn the walls are for sale. Plan to come again. It was worth the scenic drive from Jacksonville.
