Great to have another restaurant in Calhan and this place delivered. Great food and friendly service. Let them get their stride and this place will be phenomenal. Great burger, fries, and waffles! Welcome to the community and expect to see a lot of me.

The first time we went there, when they first weekend they were opened. Sarah seemed to have an attitude turning people away because they don’t seem to know how to staff accordingly. We waited 45 minutes just to get a menu. Meanwhile, tables were getting refills on drinks yet 45 before we got a drink.
When we finally got a menu to make an order, she gave me an attitude bc I added on items to my order, and she said. “Just so you know, you’ll have to pay extra for those add ons bc they don’t come with the meal I ordered. Once the order was put in, we waited forever for our order. We were there for 2 hours from start to finish for breakfast. Mind you, there aren’t that many tables available bc the second seating area was not open.
While we sat there, a handful of people got turned away bc lack of staff, and she was rude about it. She tried to give our food to another table. She was confused at what receipts went to what table. Then, to top it off, they are closed most of the week to include the bar side. Running out of food so close down for the rest of the day. They have closed down due to being over whelmed it is ridiculous. Then, when you make a comment asking why they are closed so much or any negative comment on their Facebook, they will delete it and block you from their page. Not very professional at all, in my opinion.

The food was delicious! Went on Saturday shortly after the grand opening and while there was a wait (new cafe kinks!) the staff was so nice and the food was sooo good and worth the wait! Their coffee alone would be worth returning for

Excellent everything, but got there at 6:15 p on Saturday night and they were closed already. Boo. My server told me 7p on Saturdays.
