Dosas anchor a mostly Southern (with some Northern curries), all-vegetarian Indian menu.

The Sapthagiri Special is a great deal! We enjoyed the idli, vada, and both the onion chilli rava masala and regular masala dosas—everything was delicious. The sambar deserves special praise for being so good. However, if I could make one change, it would be to add a South Indian-style peanut chutney to the offerings.

Spacious, friendly service, accommodating of allergies & amazing meal. The value was excellent too, but this has been one of my top meals in the neighborhood.

We were here with no reservation, plenty of seats were available at 6:30-7pm. The atmosphere was good, Indian vibe, decorations, not loud, all good. For the little kid we ordered mango lassi, and it was tasty, but they brought it in the simple glass from Jack Daniel’s (as usual such glasses you can get as a promo when you buy a bottle of whiskey) , and it was so odd to serve a yogurt in such glass. Then we ordered Malai Kofta and again, the bowl was chipped, even though the dish was good. Other dishes were served also not accurate. Overall I would give 3 stars. Sorry, just want to be honest.

I’m a regular customer here. I love their Mid-week Buffet and also their Poori-Bhaji. Service is really good. Management is really doing a good job!!! Family friendly and kid friendly also!

Lovely place, and tasty food. Friendly staff. Conveniently located close to Exchange place station, and Indian market. Dosa was delicious, we will visit again to try other things.

Allergy-friendly location. They took good care of my son’s peanut allergies. Food was good but a little too spicy for us despite saying mild. It may just be our taste. Service was excellent. Everyone is very attentive. Atmosphere was good but very cold; seems like the heat was not working. I would go back because we enjoyed overall.

“I had a terrible experience here. We went for the buffet, but the taste was awful across the board. To make matters worse, the chutney was spoiled, which is completely unacceptable. The service was also incredibly slow and unresponsive. Between the bad service and the risk of food poisoning, I will never come back.”

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years, and it never disappoints! Still my favorite spot. The cut mirchi and spring dosa are absolutely the best — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming, always making every guest feel like family. A true gem for authentic Indian cuisine and warm hospitality! Highly recommended.

I recently tried a South Indian thali for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The variety was impressive, featuring sambar, rasam, dal, and more—all bursting with flavor. The server was knowledgeable, describing each dish and suggesting perfect pairings, which enhanced the experience.
While I found the Mysore masala dosa to be decent, I’ve definitely had better dosas elsewhere. Still, the overall meal was worth it, especially with free parking available right next to the restaurant.
I’d give this place a solid 3.5 out of 5. A lovely spot to explore South Indian cuisine!
