Ordered spicy chicken teriyaki with rice and steamed vegetables. Can’t make this up, opened the box to find 2 raw carrot and a raw broccoli the chicken itself is bland and dry, complete lack of flavor in the spicy sauce. The included teriyaki sauce is also inedible – sweet and chemically, tasting like corn syrup. I think I just got a preview of purgoatorial torment because I am having to choose between destroying my throat with dry food or destroying my taste buds with sauce that tastes like a chemical burn. It’s about on par with Amazon cafeteria’s teriyaki quality, so very disappointing given the price difference.

Today is my second visit. During my first visit, I didn’t know where to park, so I parked in a nearby church parking lot and had to pay for parking.
Thanks to the owner’s kind guidance, I learned that if you park in the parking garage, they give you a free 2-hour free parking ticket.
Today again, the fresh vegetables and warm teriyaki were delicious.

Great portion size!! I ordered the chicken katsu and was thrilled with the overall plate. They give you some options of the salad or steamed veggies and I opted for the usual style. The chicken was cooked to perfection! A delightful crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Plenty of seating in the restaurant with news playing on the tele. I found my new favorite lunch spot!

Too slow for lunch. Arrived just before 12noon on weekday and had 15min wait for food. People arriving a few minutes later had to wait much longer. They could only make an order once every few minutes, too slow for lunch break. Food was fine! Had healthy options with just chicken and salad.

Reasonable prices. Large portions. Good presentation of food. But food taste, and flavor are at an acceptable level at best.

Food does not taste like authentic teriyaki.
The food taste like someone is copying the flavor, but does not really know how to cook this type of cuisine.
Polite south american server different ethnicity not asian at the casheir .
The flavor is more modified to taste more like south American food , and sauce. Not correct flavor.

Especially if you are craving that specific authentic teriyaki flavor. You will not find it here. Would be considered gross & yucky by some, it’s OK by some. I don’t care by some. And acceptable by some.
But it is noticeable the quality, and up keep of this place is going down rapidly.
Start with the outdoor sign & outdoor light
Then the cleaning of this place from inside, then the piling, and hoarding of supplies everywhere, then the restroom

Super disappointed. We debated which teriyaki place in the area to go to and we chose poorly. I got the chicken breast teriyaki, which was dry and bland and my “steamed vegetables” were super hard. Sauce was watery and didn’t have much flavor. The two people I was with got hot and spicy teriyaki and they were not impressed either. It was a lot of food and we barely ate any of it.

Poor quality food and limited seating. The chicken used in the spicy chicken teriyaki was very fatty and unappetizing. The spicy sauce was too sweet and too heavy.

It’s a decent teriyaki place, it’s the place to go for some of my friends, they especially like the spicy teriyaki.
I like it too, but when I got it a few times I was still a little hungry after.
I tried the katsu this time and I liked it, it tasted good and the portion was large enough.
I just wish they gave more steamed veggies though.

The food at their new location still has the same, familiar taste as in the old location.

I ordered pork teriyaki with poppy seed salad and 1 bottled drink. I was charged for 2 drinks, and the receipt said ‘no rice’. The food I got was 1 drink, pork teriyaki and rice, salad with some sort of mayo dressing. The meat was dry, tough and big, unmanageable pieces. How am I supposed to cut the meat with a plastic fork and no knife? The salad dressing was flavorless. The guy who took my order was rude and confusing. I’m not planning on coming back.
