As a person who loves Japanese cuisines, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was very pleasing to experience, there were traditional Japanese styled tables that fit the theme of the restaurant very well. I felt that the staff here were very respectful, it showed me they were devoted to their job. The food here is amazing! Every single bite led to a burst of flavor. The bento boxes satisfied me as I ate it bite by bite. The sushi they serve are also very delightful. Overall, the food here is amazing and for a decent price. I definitely recommend having a meal here.

We had a group of 8 celebrating a birthday and Kalyn took great care of us. I was there early and had a cupcake to be presented at the end of dinner. They did a wonderful job, decorated the plate and lighting the candle I’d brought. Extra special service. Quality food, beautiful presentation and not crowded. Definitely a must visit! Nice wine selection and happy hour price. We enjoyed everything from spring rolls, dumplings, special rolls, sashimi (very fresh and meaty hamachi) and bento boxes and there was nothing left over. The tempura batter was light and not greasy. The rolls were ample! We shared some tastings and Henry’s signature special scallop appetizer, fried spring rolls, Gyoza pork dumplings and the Hot Mama and Caterpillar rolls were my fave. My nephew raved about the Shumai. Again, great experience from the time you walk in to the time you leave! Note: settle up for happy hour pricing during happy hour.

We come here quite often. The rolls and sushi are fresh and tasty. I love shaggy dog rolls and the volcano rolls. The kids and hubby enjoy the rolls as well as the sushi. The takoyaki and spicy garlic edamame are our favorite appetizers.

This is one of the best places to get Japanese and sushi. Wonderful service and food. Happy hour gives you the chance to try different things for a lower price too. They have quality food and a wonderful atmosphere!

This is my first time trying this place out and everything was so good more than I expected. I tried the roll combo and bluefin Tuna sashimi which was really fresh and tasty. Service was also good.

We have now visited this restaurant 5 times and every single time has been amazing! We highly recommend the sushi and the cocktails! The dinner bartender is amazing! We have not been disappointed and we have tried many different rolls and drinks. The service is always wonderful too!

Based upon the first lunch visit Sapporo gets a good vote. The service was mediocre and the waiter didn’t seem to know his way around the menu. He had to go ask questions at least a few times. The sushi bar didn’t look inviting to me personally. But the atmosphere was comfortable with a stereotypical “Japanese restaurant” ambiance. The sushi might be a bit expensive but the food was an overall hit with my family. The menu is a bit more extensive than I’ve seen in a while. I had a sushi roll combo which was more than I could eat due to both large pieces and large servings. Although I get tired of imitation crab being an overused, go to ingredient, the rolls were as good as any around. The “spicy tuna” inside the “Orange Dragon” roll had a lot more zing than I expected. This was way more heat than a splash of sriracha so be careful! The Bento Boxes with grilled fish, shrimp, tempura and veg looked fairly standard but tasted great! I didn’t taste the spring rolls but my daughter wanted me to go back that evening for more of them. We’ll for sure go again.
