I Had a wonderful experience at Sappe Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and full of rich, well-balanced flavors. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and you could truly appreciate the quality of the ingredients in every bite.

I had my first experience with Sappeisan last night and it was amazing! The food was great- my table ordered the curry prawn, braised spicy ribs and 4 pc skewers. My favorite is the curry prawn, it’s just so tasty! I also like the dessert a lot – a whole coconut with ice cream and sticky rice. My server, whose name is Noon is awesome! He’s funny, easy-going and just so nice! He helped me scooped out the coconut flesh from the coconut. Highly recommend this place and will come here again to try new stuff next time.

Sappeisan is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to (and Thai is my favorite cuisine). Don’t waste your money at Thai Diner or Thai Villa. They don’t have the “usual” dishes of curries and drunken noodles. Rather, it felt more authentic. My favorite was the rice noodles (Sen Yai Buk)— made in a tomato based sauce with a very deep flavor. Slight spice, slight sweetness. And the Khao soi was almost as good as I’ve had in Surat: hearty coconut curry with tender noodles. The fried quail eggs were a delicious appetizer: boiled and fried in a wafer-like crisp (not super hard or crunchy). The savory dipping sauce had a very familiar flavor that I couldn’t put my finger on. The drinks themselves well exceeded my expectations. The miss dolly and rue were both very, very well-balanced cocktails with unique flavor profiles. All the right ingredients in the right portions. I would come back here just for the drinks, and definitely for the food!

I really like eating at Sappeisan. The food never misses, and the atmosphere is really fun. The restaurant is always bustling, so definitely make a reservation in advance. My friend and I ate here on a Friday night at 8:30 pm and, even with a reservation, had to wait a couple minutes for a table to be set up. We both ordered a Thai iced tea, which tasted amazing and super creamy. We shared a wing zaab as an appetizer. The fried marinated chicken wings were tangy and sweet at the same time. We also split a mama e-la and a khao soi gao yang. The mama e-la was garlicky and well-seasoned. The beef melted in my mouth! The khao soi gao yang is probably my favorite dish from here. The chicken is always tender, and the sauce is perfectly nutty and creamy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends!

We went for our anniversary and the team were thoughtful in starting off us with a welcome anniversary card which was very touch. Yo was our server and he was excellent. He was friendly, remembered every request and went above and beyond in serving us delicious food. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend the inoki mushroom fritter. The blue crab salad was also excellent. The spicy pork ribs and the chicken skerwers also were very good. Overall a 5/5 rating for sure.

Sappeisan was our best bite of food our entire weekend trip to New York and I’m so glad we went! Highly recommend getting the Crying Tiger, the steak was a perfect medium rare and the sauce it came with was the perfect punch of umami. The Isan Beef Rolls had an aromatic ginger taste that was surprisingly fresh with the wagyu beef taste. Our server Patt was very kind and was very quick with all service requests, I can’t wait to come back!

Took my mom and brother here for Valentine’s Day lunch and we loved it!! Food was super tasty. Skewers were smoky and juicy. Noodles were delicious with the right amount of flavor and went so well with the crispy pork. Lychee Panang Curry on the seasonal menu was top notch, the flavor and right amount of spiciness hit the spot for us. The dessert was so creative and tasty, ended the meal just right. We’ll surely be back!

The vibe is loud and colorful. I tend to get overwhelmed in loud spaces, but the food was so good that I forgot about that. Amy made our experience very comfortable, and I did not feel rushed to order at all. I want to bring all my friends here
Oh, and we were celebrating my birthday! They gave me a bday card as I entered. Amy and another staff member sang for me, and presented me with a delicious guava dessert. It all felt very sincere and warm.

One of the best Thai restaurant in NYC!! Everything was good and delicious!! Better than the food in Thailand.
Location: It is located around West 14th St. It was packed when we came but we have reservation. The interior is nice but bit noisy and crowded. Street parking available.
Service: not much interaction with the person who served us. We already know what to order ahead.
Food: to be honest everything was good!
HED TOD: the mushrooms was deep fried!! It was so good specially with that tamarind sauce!
PRAWN PAD THAI: hands down best pad thai! The noodles were cooked perfectly. And the prawns are so big!
GRILLED SKEWERS: we got pork, pork belly, beef and chicken. It was grilled perfectly but it maintained the juiciness of the meat. I can’t tell which is which tho, they all taste the same lol
HOTPOT: the broth is soo good and spicy. Perfect for this weather.
THAI MILK TEA: so silky and taste better than the thai milk tea in Thailand.
Price rating: 7/10. Not that bad because everything was good.
Definitely will come back to try other food on their menu. But definitely try everything that I review here.

Excellent Server! Cheer was awesome! Attentive and always smiling with happy vibes. The smiling made the experience much warmer and welcoming. Awesome customer service! The Zaab Hang braised pork melts in your mouth, so good. Prawn pai thai was good too. The curry grilled chicken was good and it’s a must try! The fish was crispy (Laab Pla Todd) and tasty, a must order. The Thai ice tea was good and not overly sweet Def recommend! It might get pretty packed so remember to reserve ahead of time. The reservation was on point with no wait time.
