We read the reviews before we made our reservation. It appeared Don was an awesome Server… he did not disappoint us! Great window table, delicious food (Mushroom Ravioli & Garganelli) with a nice Fume Blanc. The assistant servers were prompt with water refills & the bussers were efficient with clearing empty plates. We will definitely return to Sapori on our next trip to South Lake Tahoe.

A-MAZ-ING… This place is delicious. We tried the rubbed ribeye and the rolled lasagna, and they were fabulous. The service was phenomenal, and the views are incredible. The only negative is that we didn’t get to try more on the menu. We were too stuffed to even finish the canolis.

Tony greeted us with a smile and genuine interest. After a little conversation he seated us at THE perfect anniversary table with a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. Zack was our server who introduced himself almost immediately after our seating. He knew the menu thoroughly and made several outstanding recommendations. All in all, perhaps the nicest anniversary dinner we have ever enjoyed.

Don is an excellent server, and very kind! He’s very enthusiastic, and he was Johnny on the spot with us! Service was above and beyond excellent! Food was a big surprise, because the quality to us was outstanding. I got the chicken Parmesan, and my husband got the lasagna. We were very happy with everything and including the atmosphere overlooking the beautiful lake here in Tahoe!

We had a perfect dinner – our server Don was very good, attentive and personable. He recommended the perfect wines and timed the meal perfectly. Beef carpaccio with artichokes had a tasty lemon garlic sauce, interesting and unique starter. We split the generous salad and recommend this to enjoy the large pasta portions. Our pasta dishes were excellent. The mushroom ravioli was rich and tasty and the chicken penne had a flavorful broth and tasted freshly homemade. The winter street view after dark was pretty but we truly look forward to returning to see the sunset view in the spring!

Lovely views of Lake Tahoe, comfortable upscale ‘ambiance, excellent service, and delicious Italian food. Portions are generous so sharing would be good so you can have a taste of more of their delicious Italian dishes. I recommend Uncle Willies Ravioli and the Chicken Parmigiana.
