10/10 service, pizza & tiramisu!!! I stopped by this place a while back for the first time and boy did I enjoy it. Me & my group did have the server going crazy with our orders but the server managed to give us an amazing service regardless of us being a big group. I definitely recommend this place, their pizzas are genuinely GOOD & so tasty. Also their tiramisu? Words can’t describe how good it was!!! Can’t wait to be back!

Our favorite place when we travel to Old Lyme. Great drinks well balanced. I had the Italian sushi and short rib ragu. Excellent! The pizza sauce needed a little more flavor but great thin crust and cheese. Servers are so pleasant and attentive. Would recommend giving them a try.

Ordered pick up. Our 2 large Pizzas were horrible! Super Hard and burnt. Could not even finish one slice, the bottom was too hard to bite and burnt taste. The other was super thin and burnt taste. Expensive $85 for dinner we can’t eat. We have eaten inside the restaurant many times before and never had a problem with burnt pizza

The pizza was superb. By far, one of the top three pizza places in my life. The margarita 2.0 is just next level. The creamy Barada, the fresh basil on Point. The Crust is amazing. Thin crispy, bubbly, chewy everything one would look for in a delicious pizza crust. You could basically put any topping on this pizza and it’s gonna rock.

Such a great find!!! We were on the pizza trail and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff was amazing!! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Happy hour starts at 2:30 till 6!!!!! Bartender makes a mean martini. Oh and the pizza was great! Light and crispy like we like it. We will surely be back.

Chicken piccata was delicious!! Bread sticks to die for!! Excellent service and staff. The manager stopped by our table this evening to see how everything was, which is one of my most favorite things that happens at a restaurant. It really shows that they care about their customers. Our waitress was Ella. It was the second time she was our waitress and she was exemplary. Friendly, competent great sense of humor. Everything you would want to wait in a waitress. I highly recommend this restaurant. And can’t wait for the snow to melt to be able to eat outside.

This restaurant is just incredible. the pizza is top tier, a true standout in an area with great pizza. the rest of the menu is also fantastic. very accommodating for families with kids when you dine in (thank you, and apologies for the mess!), and super friendly/attentive staff. the plain pasta sauce for a kids portion tastes just like my grandmas. Can’t ask for anything more.

A warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and that’s just the beginning! We have just moved back to CT and this has become our happy place and not just for the amazing happy hour! The pizza is absolutely delicious. Ella and Sarah are already a part of our family! From the white clam pizza to their linguini and salads and yes, the cocktails, it’s all amazing!

Blown away. Pizza was different than anything I’ve ever had. On another level. I have had Pepe’s and this is much better. Sapore is crispier, better sauce, not greasy. And I’m just talking standard cheese pizza.
Also huge fan of the wings and salads. And cannolis. Great service, and they were just very willing to go above and beyond to give us a great experience. Will definitely be back.

3rd time trying Sapore and might be our last. The people there are nice so it pains me a bit to write this review, but I also really dislike paying a lot of money for inedible food. Unfortunately, our pizza was so burnt that all you could taste was that, well, bitter burnt taste. Don’t get me wrong, I like my pizza with good color, some “leoparding” on the bottom, sure. This was just plain burnt. Surprised they let this walk out the door- if I were the owner I would have said make it again and send it out right. Thursday night isn’t so busy that food shouldn’t be coming out right. You can have great dough, tasty sauce, fresh toppings, but execution is everything.
6/20/2025 This is an update to the review above. The owner kindly reached out and offered to remake a pizza on them given the pizza we had received. He assured that was not their standard quality and after our second pizza there, I believe him. It was delicious and they did not know it was pizza going to a once unsatisfied customer- we ordered it under regular circumstances without letting them know until it came time to pay (or in this case not pay). Excellent customer service and very kind people. We will be back!
