We started off our meal early and had the whole dining room quietly to ourselves, which was wonderful after a long day at work. Our server, Gus, made excellent menu suggestions, was quite personable, and we enjoyed our visit. I had more than enough food to take home for my lunch the next day.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants hence used to be. The last two times it has been a very disappointing. The soul France was overdone, and the fish was actually hard. Veal Parm burnt and when they replaced it, I receive chicken, not veal Lastly, my grandchild had a small plate of butter noodles, which they charged $25 Which is unheard of. I thought the first bad experience was a fluke, but it has just gone downhill As far as the atmosphere is concerned, we went very early and there were plenty of tables, but we were seated in the bubble dome room It was absolutely freezing The waiter Gus was very nice

Decided to give this wonderful establishment a shot for my wife and I anniversary and I did not disappoint. Food was delicious and if you love seafood fra diabolo this is the spot! Just a warning it is spicy! Great spic, for me at least. My wife ordered the chicken Parm and it was .

This is the place you want to visit with your family and enjoy the original Italian jersey style food. I am so glad these places are still around and standing strong. The food and wine selection is great and fresh which is the reason I give 5 stars. The service is fenomenal. I love the portions sizes and their entrées. The price is perfect. I recommend to reserve your table during weekends. There is a parking area next to the restaurant. I would def recommend it to family en friends and comeback on my next trip. Great job.

Love Sanzari’s ambiance! Always treated well by staff. Food was good, although not everyone at the table agreed with their choice. Perhaps pizza was misunderstood how they asked it to be. I had leftovers tonight and enjoyed it.

Love Sanzari’s! Best chicken Parmesan ever!! But it’s not just the chicken parm….you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s a lovely restaurant, whether seated in the bar area or the dining room. Gus is a wonderful waiter! We always ask for him.

Hopefully this was an off day, starters.. egg yoke ravioli in brown butter sauce. Oysters Rockefeller were good.. Ravioli was meh.. sauce was broken. Which I pointed out to the server and he said he was going to report back to the kitchen.. cause they welcome feedback. he came back and said the kitchen didn’t remember if it was broken or not??!! Which I showed to him.
Mains, I had the salmon, wife had Chilean sea bass… not a big fan of their versions, Old Bay was a little over powering.. they should’ve listed OLD Bay as an ingredient.. IMO, since I’m eating and paying for it. crab boil yea ok.. not on these dishes.

We received a gift card to dine here. We’ve never been here before. When we walked in we were greeted warmly and promptly seated in a beautifully decorated room with a warm homey feel. The servers were so friendly, attentive, but not intrusive, and very helpful, even supplied a stand to hold purses off the floor.
The food was perfectly prepared. Started with complimentary warm loaves of bread served with Olive Oil and sundried tomatoes – so good! From appetizers to dessert, each bite, each entrée was thoroughly enjoyed! We started with Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. The shrimp were of an impressive size, not too much but oh so good! The stuffed mushrooms portion of 4 good-sized mushrooms caps generously stuffed to delight! The prime rib was made perfectly and served with horseradish, potatoes, a delicious bread muffin and veggies. The homemade lasagna did not disappoint with its generous portion and topped with freshly shredded cheese, so good! The filet mignon was exquisite. So tender and bursting with flavor! The mashed red potatoes were creamy and whipped to perfection. Roasted veggies on the side were savory as well. The portions, overall, were more than we could eat, so we happily requested our leftovers to be packed to brought home. We ended the evening the Chocolate Mousse served with fresh whipped cream, so good! The prices are a little steep for us, but wow! Well worth it! We look forward to (hopefully getting another gift certificate and) returning! If you’re the type who doesn’t mind paying a little more than usual for an outstanding meal, amazing service and a beautiful atmosphere, then I highly recommend Sanzari’s!
