Attended a fundraiser Gala for a local school and we were in the outdoor tent in mid-March. We were not cold at all. They had valet for our guests. Could have benefited from a coat check, but everything else was amazing. Sam & his staff were very professional. We went a little over our 11 pm exit time but did not feel like we were getting kicked out. I would personally use this venue in the future.

Needed to get off the grid. Tucked away in New Milford, NJ. Soft shell crabs and took home what I really went there for char grilled cheese burger. Amazing, every morsel was a true delight. Oh wait I had dessert in between. A must have and an escape with new found friends.

Other than the confusion about where the parking lot entrance was, this eatery has a homey feel about it. I recently experienced being a guest at a bridal shower in the upstairs room and it was cozy. The food was good (nothing spectacular though, although I give the penne with vodka sauce a “two thumbs up”.) and the service was good too. I didn’t understand two things: why bread plates weren’t put on the tables [we had to make due with our saucers from our coffee cups] and the coffee was served way past the serving of the plates of cookies. Correct me if I’m wrong, but we couldn’t understand why pitchers of soda weren’t provided either. Would I return for an evening meal? Probably.

We received a gift card to dine here. We’ve never been here before. When we walked in we were greeted warmly and promptly seated in a beautifully decorated room with a warm homey feel. The servers were so friendly, attentive, but not intrusive, and very helpful, even supplied a stand to hold purses off the floor.

Food was good but definitely didn’t settle well with me. We were outside in the tent and they kept turning off the heaters. Our waitress (did not get her name but she was the only one wearing a brooch) was awesome! Kept up on everything and even wrapped up our food! Always smiling!!
