We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday as we drove down to Nag’s Head because we were hungry from the long drive. The service was incredibly fast for just before peak dinner hour. The restaurant was half full and we were in-and-out in about 35 minutes. The sushi was very fresh, the miso soup was particularly delicious, and the waitstaff pleasant. The only downside was the high pricing, which I found high even for OBX seafood and a sushi restaurant, given the modest portion of fish one receives. Menu photos are from June 2023.

Parking is easy and the restaurant is clean. Service was extremely slow but it was just one server running around doing her best. The food was really good, we had some sushi rolls and gyoza. The Tropical Thunder was unlike any roll I’ve had anywhere else and I would def come back just for that!

This was the whole package! Great for date night. Just as fantastic for friends grabbing sushi. The place is clean and cozy feeling. The food is absolutely amazing. The lumpia were so crisp and edamame were great for sharing. The Miso soup was warm and tasty. The wonton soup broth was crystal clear. The sushi had fresh flavor. And the drinks were strong!

My wife and I ate here last evening. Walked in and given a table immediately. Hostess and waitress were very nice. Spring roll was good. Excellent spicy California roll and my wife had an outer banks roll. We split General Tso’s chicken. All good food at reasonable price.

Worst hibachi I have ever gotten for take out. We got the NY strip and the chicken both were VERY under seasoned and container filled with liquid(in picture). Rice was packaged separately in a styrofoam cup which I’ve never seen before. We did not even try the soup.. it smelled fishy, probably from all the seaweed(in picture). I never write bad reviews but wanted to save someone from wasting $30 on lunch like I did today!

Delicious food with reasonable prices. We went for a later lunch during the week of our family vacation and had no issue being seated. Service was good even though having the meal split into multiple checks was a bit more complicated than it should have been. Definitely not a deal breaker though. We will definitely be back during our next visit to OBX

Arrived just before 4pm on Saturday (7/16/22). We were seated right away. We ordered our drinks, Coke, Ginger Ale, Hot Green Tea, and Root Beer. All served quickly. The tea was delicious and the pot it was served in was so pretty! The ginger ale wasn’t my favorite, but I drank it.
