Our concierge suggested this location for an authentic taste of Cuba. What a great recommendation. The restaurant is located on the second floor in a covered outdoor patio. The atmosphere was really fun. The restaurant overlooks a saltwater channel. The food was wonderful! We tried lots of selections. Langostino, pasta, sushi, ceviche, seafood rice, fresh lemonade, the “catch of the day” (sword fish) and more. I highly recommend Santy Pescador.

Pretty View, But Not Worth the Price
The restaurant has a pleasant panoramic view, which is a nice start. The staff who welcomed us and served our table were professional and polite, but unfortunately, some other staff on the ground floor did not even greet us.
The raw fish was fresh and enjoyable, but the pasta with tomato sauce was overcooked and bland, and the mixed fish platter was nothing special compared to other places in the city. At prices five to six times higher than average, the quality and creativity expected were not delivered. The fish was dry, the dishes lacked modern culinary techniques, and nothing felt unique or memorable.
The interior is disappointing for a high-priced restaurant: old, uncomfortable chairs, a generally outdated look, and bathrooms in poor condition. On top of this, paying in euros resulted in an unfavorable exchange rate well below the current value.
High prices attract clients willing to spend, but they also expect excellence. Santy Pescatore unfortunately does not meet these expectations.

The location is special , because of the area, Ceviche with a lot of garlic and onion, if you like it, is very good , with a generous portion, the pasta with fish and tomato was a bit too much cooked , not sure if was fresh tomato but not enough for that kind of pasta. The fish , in the pasta, was very dry . The octopus with garlic was not bad , but nothing special, let’s say for the price maybe they need to improve something.

By all Canadian or Latin American standards ceviche was out of this world, fresh filet of fish just cut in big chunks with spices…a must to try. Red Snapper fried the whole fish…3 of them on one plate. Come you won’t regret but a bit pricey, just in a year prices are doubled.

The service is very good, there is one of them who is the oldest who perfectly masters each dish, the other not so much, the food is exquisite, especially the fish roe…we go relatively frequently and the truth is that it always makes me return! It’s a wonderful place for smoking cigar!

Great seafood and sushi. The place come off like a speak easy. It’s a little hard to find but we’ll worth the effort. Also, after we left we learned that Anthony Bourdain had filmed here. Who knew!

This place was great with no formal menu they serve up great seafood caught Daly. Combination between sushi, Italian and seafood everything I tried here was delusions. I recommend the bucket of baby lobsters. The down fall is the location is a little out of the way for most tourists visiting Havana about 30 min drive from the city center about $30 cab ride.

Has been the first Havana restaurant that my girlfriend take me there, and has been love at first sight. One of the best restaurant of seafood: all fresh, a location really typical, in front of the rio at the marina. You will eat sushi or some typical Cuban beer or dishes; fresh fish of the day, and the gorgeous seviche. Very tasteful and very good! And I am Italian: trust me at the word 😉
I will for sure return in this place.
Consigliato!

Walked here after visiting furstalandia. Amazing location, hidden in the back streets of a small village. One of the best meals we had in Cuba, ceviche, sushi and lobster.
