Pizza was really good, and the mozzarella sticks were too. Prices weren’t bad at all and service took a standard amount of time. The dining area is pretty small and feels more set up for takeout than eating in. I’d definitely go back to try some of their other pizzas.

We wanted to try Italian style pizza and ended up in this pizza place. It does not look very attractive from outside – it seems to be more for delivery. I could imagine it as a cosy restaurant…well, maybe another time.

Last night dec 13th ,2025 ordered a large pizza with sausage
And 12 garlic parm wings and pizza was cold – the box was wet also the paper that lined the box was stuck to bottom
of the pizza !!
The wing were fine .

Santucci’s Original Square Pizza is one of the best spot in South Philadelphia. The place is very convenient and they serve just amazing food.
I have been there several times and I never got disappointed. Their tomato bisque soup which comes with mini grilled cheese is one of the best soup I have ever had in my whole life. It is just amazing. Their original square pizza is also very tasty and they always make it so fresh. The dough is so delicious too. They have great sandwiches also especially buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite. Sandwiches serve with fries but you can substitute with salad if you want to.
The restaurant is very clean and they have open kitchen which is very big plus for any kind of restaurant. The service is very good and waitresses are very friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

Our server, Carie, was one of the best servers i ever had in my entire life. The food was very solid, wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza of my life, but a very solid spot for pizza. Got the margarita pizza, a solid 8 on my playbook, it’s simple, good, dough is cooked well and has a crunch, solid pizza sauce too, but be aware, the portions are a little big. I got a personal pizza and it comes with 4 slices, i was only able to eat 2 and some short rib fries. Such a great bang for buck with great service, would recommend, but don’t expect the greatest pizza of your life, but a reliable option that will not disappoint.

UPDATE: (6 months later) hey guys, jack rock back again. They changed their chicken tenders and increased the price. They seem homemade, and i appreciate the effort… Unfortunately it’s not a move i can whole heartedly endorse. An italian breadcrumbs seasoning is great at home but when i’m in the mood for a classic chicken tender, I will not be ordering these. 🙁

We were introduced to Santucci’s on a food tour and it was heavenly. Pizza is my favorite food on earth, and I wasn’t really sure how Santucci’s was going to stack up to my lifetime favorites. Even from the look of the pictures, without cheese on top, it’s hard to imagine how this pizza is going to taste. Well, wonder no long. This pizza is absolutely amazing!!! I suggest going with their traditional square pizza. I know it looks almost too simple, but it’s magic. The sauce is epic, the cheese pull is spot on, and the crust is the perfect crisp/chewy combination. This is one of those pizzas that is good hot, good warm, and even good cold. If I lived in Philly, I would absolutely be ordering this pizza regularly. Keep up the hard work, Santucci’s.

Got a gluten-free personal-sized pizza and it was delicious. The dough was crispy on the bottom and fluffy in the middle. The cheese and sauce were delicious. If you’re GF, I definitely recommend!
