I purchased a gluten free pizza a few days ago from your Deptford location. It was awful. There wasn’t more than a tablespoon of sauce on the pizza and the cheese layer was so thin it was barely noticeable. The crust was cremated in the oven. The pizza looked very burnt, smelled burnt and tasted the same. How did the employee who placed this pizza in the box not notice how badly this pizza was burnt on the top and bottom? I tried to eat it, but had to throw it away. The gluten free crust was not bad, but burning it made it taste terrible.
I was hoping I was going to have a good experience, but I didn’t.

What is this? Was this made in an easy bake oven? $40 for a large pizza with toppings.. Too saucy and very doughy, no crisp at all. Veggies weren’t even cooked through. Never again. You can get double the amount of pizza for the same price and tastes way better down the street.

They’re now open! i live a mile away from them so I had to try it asap. The parking lot is a mess of a place to get into, not sure why they chose the intersection of the two busiest streets in all of Deptford, so I had it delivered. It was delivered piping hot! Beautiful!
I ordered the veggie pizza, sauce was on the thinner side, lots of onions sprinkled on top and that were the major flavor profile taking over the taste buds. Cheese wasn’t much to talk about and the crust wasn’t crispy.
I’ll definitely give it another chance and the last time I had santuccis was four years ago in Philly.

Not worth the time or money to try here
Pizza was horribly thin almost like a thin crust pizza only thing that was “thick” on this was the burnt crust, not to mention we got boneless wings and there was literally clumps of garlic at the bottom of my box PLUS had to heat everything up when I’m not even a 10 minute drive… not worth $50

I grew up eating Santucci’s Pizza in Philly, so I was very excited to see one in my area. The food was great, but the service was lacking.

I decided to dine-in yesterday with my kids, since it was empty for a Tuesday afternoon and I noticed a bunch of the younger male employees huddled together talking at the counter. Not a big deal, as I said it was empty and slow at the time that I walked in – but it surprised me that tables were still dirty.

I ordered a pizza and 3 mini cannolis, the wait for the pizza wasn’t unreasonable. However, I never saw the cannolis. I went to the counter person who admittedly forgot about them and apologized. Not a problem, I sat and waited. After 10 minutes, I approached again, still not ready. It wasn’t until my THIRD trip to the counter when the next counter person came in, that I saw HER go to the back to make them. Did the original person I placed the order with just not know what to do?

I greatly enjoyed the food and will give this place another shot, but I was greatly disappointed with the service. I hope that management is reading these reviews

I ordered online and had it delivered. It came very fast. Pizza was what you would expect, Italian hoagie was good, the wings (smoked BBQ), has very good flavor, but were very overcooked. I’m not deducting any stars for that since they are very new and it’s just a soft opening. They are still training and working things out.

We ordered a LG works pizza it was so sloppy wet it had leaked thru the box. It looked like the sauce was watered down and tasted like it was not seasoned. We called and complained, and did get another one, again it was sloppy wet. The first time we went to the restaurant it was great, when it first opened, probably won’t return. We live in the neighborhood and believe in supporting locals. 30.00 it is outrageously expensive for Slopp.

Service was good and friendly, but the pizza seriously didn’t match the price. Overpriced for the quality—bland and underwhelming. Won’t be coming back for the food.

Fries were a bit too squishy.

So good service but not food

Food was very good! Loved the short rib fries! Would like to see wings tossed in sauce not poured on. Also serve pickles to the side, they were served on top chips to 2 people who don’t like pickles which kinda spoiled the chips. All in all very good and will be back! ( also got charged $3.50 for water from the fountain, offer a courtesy cup maybe ? ) still enjoyed!

Terrible customer service and UNSANITARY suggestion for an error THEY made. We were given the wrong order and the manager wanted us to bring back food that we already took home.

Ordered two pizzas (one pep, one plain), bone-in wings, and extra pizza sauce on the side. Was given two plain pizzas, boneless wings, and no sauce. We didn’t know the wings were boneless until 4-5 hands were in the box and people realized they were boneless. We checked the receipt and it said “Danielle.” Wrong name.

We called and were advised it’s no problem, just come pick up the correct wings and sauce. Fiancée gets there and was advised he needs to BRING BACK THE FOOD that was already touched by multiple people and that if they give us the bone-in wings they would be “down $200.” My fiancée had to convince them to give us the pizza sauce. No apology, no refund, no “sorry for the inconvenience, here’s a coupon for next time” … just “we’ll be down $200.”

They really intended on giving already-touched food to another family. That alone will make us never come back.
