We’ve eaten here a couple of times and the food and service are excellent!! Their onion rings are some of the best. I ordered the ribeye on both occasions, it was so delicious the first time, I had to order it again. I like my steak medium rare and the second time visiting Santo’s my ribeye came out well done, but they were quick to cook me a new one. I highly recommend Santo’s!!

Stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch and it was phenomenal! Probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. The slaw is delicious as well as the BLTA. The atmosphere is inviting and I loved the decor.

It’s really great to have a “date night” location on the West Bank of St.Charles Parish. This place didn’t disappoint. Now, it is expensive compared to other nearby restaurants, but it was worth it! Wife had the Stairway to heaven, and I had the Nachos (meat varies) as my meal. We will definitely be going back! Service was great, food was wonderful and quick. Just be sure to make a reservation, they probably had to turn away 10 couples while we were there who showed up without.

As you can see I dropped from 5 star to 3.
Guys what happened. None of the above dishes were available only “bar food” as the menus picture indicates. The food I had Thai shrimp and salmon appetizers were very good. Some of the others were iffy. Great wine glasses and a reasonable corking fee of $15.
Special drinks were very good also. If you are looking for a place with good small plate you may want to try but not regular entree of seafood or steaks. Waitress was pleasant but should have been more knowledgeable of dishes. All that said I know it’s been tuff hiring personnel which may have added to the critique’s direction.

We showed up around 6:30PM without a reservation. There were seats at the bar, which worked out great. We met the parents of one of the owners and had a nice time chatting with them. We were both very impressed with our food (best tamales I’ve ever had) and were served quite fast given how busy the restaurant was. Our server was polite and looked like he was doing a great job mixing drinks, though we didn’t have any.

Tried this place for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The double cut chop was excellent. Good atmosphere. We ate in the bar area and were a bit disappointed that our server didn’t come by an offer dessert. When we asked he said the kitchen was closed. we would have liked to have at least known it was closing. Will go back.
Have been back several times and the food is great and the staff has been very personable and lots of fun.

House Smoked Salmon is so delicious. Salmon perfectly prepared and the Chefs dressing is incredible.
Latin OODLES give you flavor you cannot explain. Spice on point, noodles does not over power, and the slightest sweet to manage the heat, and home town flare.
Shrimp and Grits rich, delicious savory, shrimp do not disappear in the dish and the grits are creamy tender succulent with the sweet corn to bring it together.
Finish the evening with Cookies and Milk are some of the happiest things that hit your mouth, sweet with salty not washed away by the Vanilla Bean Custard.

I may have a new favorite place! Santos is worth the quick trip from New Orleans. The Cajun meets Latin Cuisine was amazing. The service was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. I ordered the “Stairway to Heaven” (pictured) which is fried catfish, crab cake, roasted shrimp stacked on top of cornbread with a Rocoto Sauce and Charred okra. Everything was cooked perfectly and so flavorful, the rocoto sauce was not to hot but still had great pepper flavor. The charred okra was a great compliment. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly, the crab cake was full of tender crab and not much filler. I also had a side of Roasted Street Corn Grits which were so creamy with just the rite amount of spice. I can’t wait to go again and try more things from the menu!!

We went for lunch a few months ago. The food was excellent and the drinks were fine. The service was glacial; two other couples came in moments after us and their servers appeared at least five minutes before ours did. The main problem is the horrendous noise level in the dining room. We might try again and ask to be seated in the bar section but our return is unlikely.
