The manager later came by to check on us and kindly offered drinks, but when the food finally arrived, one of the dishes (the shrimp) was cold, and two of our plates were missing items that were supposed to be included. We decided to eat anyway since we had already waited so long. We also had to ask for silverware three times before it was finally brought to the table.
When the waitress came back, we asked for the check and mentioned one of the dishes that wasn’t right, saying we didn’t want to wait any longer. Her response was that “everyone had to wait,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I told her that such delays are not the customers’ fault—it’s a management issue. She only acknowledged the food mistake but not the long wait.
Soups were good
Does not taste Greek
The cups smell sort of bad. The glass drink cups and table napkins have a certain smell that isn’t good when trying to enjoy a meal
Pita and hummus at the start was delicious. Veggie moussaka (think Greek lasagna) did not skimp on the veggies. Quite a few of us got the platter that included lamb gyro meat, grilled chicken, and kofte, which was all super flavorful. Chicken soup (avoglemono?) was had wonderful lemon tang with a light spoonful of person. Greek salad was refreshing and well put together. Those of us with a lighter appetite found the chicken/beef on a stick options satisfying with well-seasoned meat.
One heads up is that we did have a 4% credit card fee attached to our bill. So either be prepared to pay that on top of tax and tip (don’t stiff them because you choose CC), or bring cash!
