Servers seem friendly and quick but the food is honestly atrocious. I got an RCP for lunch and it was beyond bland. The cheese sauce is so watered down that it doesn’t even taste like queso, it tastes like vuagely cheesey water and looked like it too. The rice is just plain rice with a slight pink color, not the first sign of a vegetable or a spice. The chicken tastes like it was seasoned with salt only, again not a single vegetable mixed in. There wasn’t even a side of beans to go with the watery mush. They’re charging outrageous prices for incredibly subpar food.

Ordered 2 Quesadillas and 2 tacos. The quesadilla and pork taco were excellent! My husband liked the thick chips. I prefer them thin and crispy. Finished if off with a fried ice cream. Yummy!

Santi’s is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Charleston! The food is fresh, delicious and always consistent! The servers are like family! Bonus that they have 2 great bartenders as well! Favorite dishes: Soup Azteca, Mexican tacos, American tacos, the Mexican beef stew, tamales, wet burrito, guacamole, and most importantly the spicy margarita! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had been wanting to try this place and stopped in for lunch, it was busy and the music was little loud I thought, I was not greeted and seated myself, I finally got the attention of a waiter and asked for a menu, unfortunately he spoke minimal English and I speak minimal Spanish. I received complimentary chips and salsa and I ordered the two taco plate and the were served with rice and beans. The tacos were really good, they came with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream, the rice was moist but the beans need work as they were runny and lacked flavor.

The food and service are fairly consistent. There needs to be a door between the dining room and bathroom area. If you sit in the tables near that area, it can be unappetizing with the smell.

I came here with my girlfriend on vacation, and we had high hopes with a 4.1 star. At 5 on a wendsday night, we were one of maybe 4 tables in the whole restaurant. We ordered a small queso and strawberry margarita with chips and salsa. The chips were too thick and mostly burnt. The queso was clearly out of a can, and our margarita tasted like straight strawberry puree, no liquor whatsoever. At the end, our server had the audacity to say, “You can at least order some togo food. Are you not going to spend any more money?” Then, when I asked him to repeat what he had said, he just said never mind, then got another server to bring out the check and payment form. When we asked the new server what the last guys name was, he lied and not very well.
Prior to that. I was going to tip 10 on a 13 dollar check for taking up his section. This is absolutely ridiculous. Don’t waste your money here on crappy food and worse service.
