I’ve always had a great experience at Santiago’s. It’s a family-run business, and over the years I’ve consistently enjoyed both the food and the service. I’ve left positive reviews before because the quality has usually been solid.
Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered an Indian taco and specifically asked for all the toppings on the side. After about an 18-minute drive home, I opened it to find the taco covered in green chili, which made it soggy and difficult to enjoy. I tried to eat it, but the texture really took away from the experience.
I called to share the issue, and the response I received didn’t feel very professional. The staff member I spoke with mentioned that her dad owns the business and said, “Sorry, that sucks. Next time, tell me not to put chili on it.” It felt dismissive and like a missed opportunity to take care of a loyal customer. In the past, I’ve felt that ownership or more experienced staff would have handled this differently.
I still like Santiago’s and hope this was just a one-off situation, but this experience left a bad taste, especially from a customer service standpoint. I’ll likely try another location going forward. Sharing this so others know what to expect.

We had the chicken and rice burrito with half-and-half chile and cheese inside, plus chicken flautas – everything was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole meal even better. Santiago’s in Superior really nails it on flavor and experience. Highly recommend!

Jazmin has been a constant presence here, diligently working every time I step in. Her politeness is unwavering, and she has never once made a mistake with my order in the entire year I’ve been coming here. As for Omar, Manuel, and Carmela, they are always tucked away in the back, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Their speed and friendliness never fail to impress, and they never make any errors! The food they serve is consistently delicious, so make sure to drop by. I guarantee you won’t leave disappointed. The people at the Superior location are terribly rude. I ordered a breakfast burrito without an egg, allergies, and the cooks had a fit! They didn’t know I spoke Spanish. They gave the cashier a super hard time saying they cant do this. Seriously. A restaurant that doesn’t care about their customers health?!

This place is pretty much an oasis in this barren lot of stores. Only one other food shop remains across the street and that is basically it.
That doesn’t stop it from being pretty decent, though. Not totally amazing, but it still satisfies this goblin appetite all the same. Small, tucked away store, so it does get hard to spot.

The best Santiago’s location I’ve ever visited. Smells and looks very clean. The employees are welcoming, very nice and kind. They treat you like family and offer the best customer service. And the food is amazing.

I understand that at end of shift individuals are eager to get out of work but you still have a responsibility to make sure you serve your customers with what they ordered for one and also provide utensils and napkins. My order was not served how I asked. I ordered 3 Tostada and asked for everything put in separate containers because I didn’t want my tostadas all souggie by the time I got home and wasn’t. I also did not receive my full order. I should of realized to check my order when I saw the guy who ordered before was going back in with his order.
